Open to the public! The current registered boats have already made it the biggest turn out in the history of this event and the weather looks to be perfect. This is probably my one of favorite events at the Pentwater Yacht Club, so many unique and vintage boats.

Have you had dessert at the club this week? This week we offered a few different options, courtesy of our Pastry Chef Intern: Tristyn! She came to us from Baker: The Culinary Institute of Michigan. Head to PYC this Saturday! Volunteers will be on site from 6-8 p.m. selling raffle tickets to win a brand new SOL Sailboat valued at over $6,000.

Each ticket is $100 with only 100 tickets available. Please bring cash or a check to Pentwater Junior Sailing Program.


This raffle is open to the public and all proceeds benefit Pentwater Junior Sailing Program. If you are unable to purchase tickets in-person, contact a friend or family member.

The winner will be announced at the Sunfish Shootout on July 7. The winner does not need to be present.

Additional raffle ticket sales dates will be announced as needed.

US Sailing summarizes this year's winners, including Pentwater Yacht Club receiving the One Design Club Award.

US Sailing awarded the annual One Design and Adaptive Awards this past week at the National Sailing Programs Symposium in Savannah, GA. Awardees were nominated by their peers in the sailing community through a public nomination form.
