The rest of the story…

We were suppose to be moving last weekend. 🚚

Not far. Same town. New house.

But since our little town got some of the worst hurricane damage, we have spent the week using our own vehicles to move and make our way down roads that were barely open. 🙃

Good news though…all of our fencing is down at the new house so we’ve gotten to know every neighbor!! ❤️❤️❤️

On a serious note…this clearly isn’t ideal! And also why there won’t be a shop update again today. 😜

📦 IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFO 📦

Wow, what a weekend! 😱 Thankfully we are all safe, but there has been lots of damage and not all of us have power yet. Roads are still closed as well as businesses, including our little post office. 🏤

For now, I will plan to start shipping orders again next week (if possible 🤞).

Thank you to everyone who has placed orders this past weekend and continues to do so. It means a lot. 🥰

This is as far as I got on my sock before the Hurricane hit and there’s been no time to knit since. 🤣🙄🙃

If we lose power, my electric yarn winder will be unavailable. Today project prep is essential, which means winding sock sets and full skeins for multiple projects *just in case*.

But seriously….if you are in the path of this storm, please stay safe and prep accordingly!!

Stitches have been SLOW lately, but I finished a pair of scrappy socks last night AND I’m working on a pair of scrappy socks from the basket!! 🥳🥳🥳

(There’s a highlight at the top of the page all about this basket! 🤪)

AND…there’s a little peak in my bag at a new scrappy pair I’ll be working on next. 🤎🧡🩷

I’m doing a plain vanilla sock on 9” circulars.

For the pair on the right I did stripes every 5 rows and for the one I’m working on now I’m doing 5 rows of contrast color and 10 rows of main color.
