I was hoping to get a chance to make these burnt ends for Rochester VegFest and I did. What a labor of love. I personally shredded 5 pounds of oyster mushrooms for these. Very limited amount on these and only avaible tomorrow.

Yesterday was the last in this series of the youth nutritional cooking class we did in partnership with Milly's Market by Milly's Pantry and Yates Community Center . One of the young chefs was not able to attend but I received this message from their mom. So appreciative of the kind words!

They did an amazing job and our menus for their guests included a green monster smoothie, red pepper hummus with fresh veggies, pepita pesto pasta topped with sauteed cherry tomatoes, parm cheese and lemon zest and for dessert a depression era wacky cake with chocolate ganache and a tripple berry sauce.
