Capital City is excited to announce a "Granite State Challenge" Mosconi style 9-Ball event this summer!

We have been coordinating with Sharky's in Somersworth, Winni Bar & Billiards in Laconia, and Strokers in Pelham. Who has the best team??

Capital City is on the hunt for the best 5 players to compete this Sat 6/20. For a 6 Team Fargo maxed at 3000! 5 ROOM players ➕ 1 owner (me- Kathy) in the line-up (THE #1 Prerequisite is you HAVE TO be a regular at Cap City)

If you're one of the best to make this team, it will cost you $100. The winning team takes the 🏆 trophy + the entire 💲💲 pot of a minimum of $2400.00/team‼️

I am hosting an event this Sat 6/20 w/$20.00 entry fee, requesting all you big hitters to come perform for me. LIMITED TO 16 PLAYERS ONLY! Top 5 winners make the team! Our team will compete against the 3 other rooms on Sundays in late July and Aug.

Get out here this SATURDAY 6/20 to show me what you're made of!

9-ball Race to 5. Call shot, Alt break, 9 on the spot, rack for your opponent, 9 push out option, and we will be using a 3 foul rule. Doors open at 11am, First break at 12p $20 entry to go towards team entry fee.

This will be the first of its kind, Granite State Showdown and will be kick ass to see all you peeps playing your best pool.
We'll be holding Calcutta's that will contribute to the pot, streamed matches, and we're working on sponsors!

All great ways to keep yourselves from falling to a pit of rumors and drama. I know it's a national past time, and the days of the gossip circles at beauty parlors have evolved quite a bit.
But in the age of "lightening speed telephone" it becomes so easy to overlook who you're hurting, talking about, and very possibly defaming (it's also the age of the "lightning lawsuit").
Swirling drama about folks made by other folks can really hurt the former folks.
I'm fairly certain that no one wants to talk about things that they don't want to talk about. Someone wants to approach you with anything, they're going to. But if they don't, you don't know the truth, you weren't there, you're hurting people....
In the years that I've owned these pool rooms, I've seen so much swirl around that. I don't follow anyone on social media. Someone may come up to me and say hey, did you read what so and so put on their page? Did you read the comments on this post?
I'm proud to say no, because someone's personal life is personal. They are the only ones who know the truth, and have the option to share it they want to.
We're all grown ups, many of us have children of social media age. Let's teach our kids right. And let's respect the privacy of others.

Erica Ricka Testa has been a friend, a mentor, an embassador, a teacher, a hilarious critic, and it's about time, a hall of famer.
She came up with a group of fearless young women in the sport I love. While tearing it up in the pro and pro-am circles, Ricka always gives her time to keep the women's game relevant, competitive, FUN, and entertaining. Teaching so many others to play smart, take their time, but smile because it's only a game.
That comes in part to good parenting. Mama Testa, you done good.
Erica might be one of the most popular players I've ever seen, and I've ever had the honor to know. But but boy oh boy, Make a stupid decision on a 2 ball on rack number three in a race to five?
Be prepared to hear it!.
DUUUUDE, what the F were you thinking?
CONGRATULATIONS KID! I WISH THERE WERE MORE LIKE YOU!

So true... Jason Shaw is back at it again! This has become the PREMIER weekly in NH thanks to him, our players and of course Zen Draken Williams!
You'd better get here before the chips run out!....money don't grow on trees but they sure grow on the BREAK AND RUN!

As always, we will be closed Monday, Memorial Day to honor our county's bravest soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
