We had so much fun at Spells & Spirits this weekend! 🖤And the Halloween fun isn’t over yet. We’re keeping the spooky season going all October long!

Dare to explore the mountain after dark? 🕯️ Join our experienced guide for a lantern tour filled with mountain history, eerie tales, and a few chills along the way. Tours take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights throughout the fall!

🌙 5 PM | New Moon Market Explore tarot readings, metaphysical goods, and more from our market vendors.

🍹 7 PM | Potions Mixology Sip on magical concoctions like My Blood, Your Blood, Our Blood margaritas, Am as Veritas punch, and Belladonna green apple cocktails. Our Potionmaster will demonstrate how to craft these spellbinding drinks yourself!

From Kellerman’s to the big screen and now the stage. 💃

Dirty Dancing: The Musical is now playing at The National Theatre in Washington, D.C., bringing this beloved story to the stage with music, dancing, and all the moments that have made Dirty Dancing a classic.

For us at Mountain Lake, it’s especially meaningful to see the story continue on stage. In 1986, our Virginia mountain resort became Kellerman’s, serving as the backdrop for some of the film’s most memorable scenes.

Decades later, Dirty Dancing: The Musical is introducing a new generation of audiences to the story we all know and love. Don’t miss your chance to experience the magic at The National Theatre! ❤️

September 25 is Dolly Parton Day, a time to remember Dolly, our Appalachian sister from Tennessee. 💕🦋

Dolly’s music, stories, humor, generosity and unmistakable sparkle made her beloved far beyond the mountains she called home. From her remarkable career as a singer and songwriter to her work as an author, actress and philanthropist, she used her success to make a difference in the lives of others. Her warmth, wit, and generosity became part of her legacy just as much as the songs she gave us.

Today at Mountain Lake, we’re raising a glass to Dolly with The Dolly, a bright and tropical cocktail with a beautifully sweet finish. 💕

Dolly’s legacy also lives on right here in Giles County through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which provides a free book each month to local children from birth to age five. To learn more about the program or support its work in our community, visit ImaginationLibrary.com.🦋

With misty mountain views, an Oktoberfest brew from Center of the Universe Brewing Co., and Oktoberfest fun ahead, there’s no better way to welcome the season.

There’s something about this in between season that feels just right. 🍂

Summer is still hanging on in the best ways, with flowers blooming and wildlife everywhere, but the first hints of fall are starting to peek through in the trees. The days are comfortable, the evenings are crisp, and the mountains are beginning to take on those beautiful touches of orange.

This is the Goldilocks season: not too hot, not too cold, just right. And if you’ve been waiting for a sign to sneak away for the weekend, this might be it. We still have a few rooms open tonight, so you can leave Friday, settle into the mountains, and be back home by Sunday.

Come up to the mountain, stay awhile, and enjoy this beautiful little stretch between summer and fall. 🌿🍁
