Happy Wednesday!!! We’re halfway through the week and still going strong!! Our weekend is looking beautiful for our June vendor event. There is still time to get your registrations in! We would love to have a food truck if one is available! Things we would love to see added to our monthly pop ups are:

What are things you would like to see?

If anything, just come up, hangout and socialize! Bring a chair if you would like and just enjoy the sunshine and fellowship on the lawn! That’s my absolute favorite part of all of this! Getting to hug and love on everyone right here in one spot!

Happy Tuesday! We've got quite a bit to fill you in on! So let's dig right in!

First up! We had such a great response from our customers, community and vendors at our lawn event, that we're excited to host it again! June 20th will be our next little lawn event. I will add the dates below for the rest of the summer. I understand that some may conflict with other events in the county, but it's hard to work around everyone's calendars.

If you are interested in our June/Summer lawn event, below will be the link to fill out. Again, I try not to have doubles of anyone and I love a good variety! So if you would like to showcase your hobby/talent or goods, fill out the form! This event will be free to set up as well. If you filled out the form before, you will still need to do so, you just will not have to submit your pictures again or do all the extra stuff.

Next up, tonight is our Adams County Breast Cancer Support Group here at the coffee shop. I love how they always try their best to have speakers that provide information, services and support on all walks of your breast cancer journey. These resources are for the ones walking through it, on the other side of it or maybe a loved one that has been affected by it. Tonight's speaker is Dr. Consuela Alley, RPC Integrative Family Medicine, from Georgetown, Ohio. Looking forward to hearing her speak on women's health. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Angie McCoy, Regina Justice or Toni Starline. You can also always reach out to me and I can put you in contact with one of them. Tonights meeting starts at 7pm!

Lastly...unless i think of something else, there are many VBS's going strong this week!! With so many going on, there should be no problem finding one to send your kiddos to! Send them! You won't regret it! Check out our pinned post that has all of this weeks VBS! Some that I know of are:

Good morning!! It’s an absolutely beautiful morning out there! I’m a little behind on my VBS schedules, so if you wouldn’t mind posting your VBS flyer or messaging me the details, I’ll add it to our VBS post! I will have it pinned at the top of our page so it will be easy to find! You can also hang flyers on the wall as you come into the shop!

VBS will always be a core memory of my childhood! My parents used to decorate for it and I remember being so excited to see it all come together and walking in and being blown away by the transformation. I hope your kids can have their own Bible school memories!!

Yesterday was more than I could’ve ever imagined. As I sit here in the sunshine with my coffee in hand, I can’t help but reflect on yesterday. My first big event was a total success! The weather was the main character in yesterday’s festivities. It was absolutely gorgeous!! I was able to talk to old friends, new friends and met quite a few people just traveling through and wanted to stop by. But when I say my community showed up, they showed up big! You all know that I’m a hugger and the amount of people i got to wrap up was unmatched! So not only seeing my community, but loving on my community was an absolute highlight for me! None of this would’ve happened without you!!

My vendors were absolutely wonderful and so so kind and TALENTED! Everything went so smoothly and they fit right in with the rest of my village. I loved watching them talk, laugh and mingle with everyone. It becomes one big family when you’re here. Watching them set up and tear down so quickly was amazing to me! I know they do this often, but they have a whole system down and they rock it!

My plan has been all along to have these once a month through the summer and into the fall if the weather allows, so that’s what I plan to do! We had a lot of interest from our vendors and our community plus I have a list of vendors to add. If you have any ideas you would like to see added, please let me know! I love having a variety!

Things that I would love to add to our calendar if there is interest as well are:
*Nights of Worship-local worship bands, lawn chairs and food trucks
*Movie nights
*Music on the lawn-local talents
*One very out of the box event that I think will be THE coolest!! It’s a secret in the making🤫☕️

Again, I want to thank EVERYONE who made yesterday possible! You all played a role in an answered prayer and dream brought to life! From sharing posts, word of mouth, showing up and shopping. You did it! When I stood in the midst of it all yesterday, I was overjoyed and blessed. My cup was overflowing! So thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Through everything there was only one piece missing. That was my dad. Oh my how he would’ve been over the moon for this event. He loved talking to everyone and to have heard his infectious laughter echo across the lawn, would’ve been the icing on the cake. I miss him so so much. Just know he would’ve loved on every one of you as well.

What a turnout this morning!! If you knew how my heart felt right now, you would know that it’s absolutely over flowing! I’ve dreamed and prayed for this, for years! Stop out and see what all our very first vendor event may have for you!

I want to take a minute to thank my part time friend, Kelly. I just like to use her when I need her. My mom that I also like to use and my husband that I really like to use and abuse. I’m absolutely kidding. I could not do any of this without them! They are my biggest supporters and I couldn’t ask for better!!

Thank you to my awesome employees for coming in on their day off and working! They really are a great group of workers!! Thank you Erin, Sofia and Grey!!

Everyone is set up and ready so come on over!!

Happy Friday!!! We’re less than a day away from our first vendor lawn event!! We’re so excited to see you!! Our vendors seem to be excited as well!! The weather is looking beautiful so there’s no excuse to keep you home tomorrow!!

We will have a boutique set up, candles, woodworking, embroidery, flowers, sourdough goods, dirty soda cart, paintings and more!!

If you’re here for our event, please be sure to snag some pics and add them to our page or tag the business in them!!

Our parking lot will be closed tomorrow so you can park at the high school and walk over on the path provided to the front of the lawn or park across the street in the gravel lot. Early in the morning there will be a drive thru panty at the church so please do not block any of that. Park on the gravel lot only.

Happy fake monday!! It’s Tuesday with the feels of a Monday!🫠 Either way, as long as I’m on this side of the dirt, today is a good day!!

Today starts out summer hours of 7a-2p M-F and 8a-2p on Saturdays. If you’re new here, we started this after we realized just how much business falls off once the kiddos are out for the summer. So last year I made the executive decision to close at 2p through the summer and it worked out great. I do however hate that we may miss some here and there, but it’s just what I have to do for our business.

Today at 1pm, we will have special guest, Suzan Brydon stopping in for coffee and a chat! Suzan is an ultramarathoner from Colorado and is spending this May on a 1,000 mile run from the coast of Delaware to Cincinnati, (32 miles a day for 32 days) and along the way, will be raising funds for Soles4Souls and their 4EveryKid program, which provides athletic shoes to kids experiencing homelessness: https://soles4souls.org/4everykid/. Stop on in for a free cup of drip coffee and meet Suzan along her journey!

This weekend is our first vendor lawn event!! We are gearing up and super excited for what this weekend may bring! I’m over the moon to see everyone out and about in our community! We have had a couple of vendors not able to make it, so if you would like to see if there is a spot available for you and your goods, please register, I’ll make sure we don’t have doubles and I’ll put you in there!

Stop in, grab a lunch with a friend and head out to the porch for some coffee, food and catching up!
