Gooood afternoon!!! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve made a post!! Back to school has been hard on everyone!! INCLUDING the baristas!😂 Being back to full hours has taken some adjusting. BUT we’re so glad to see everyone again and getting back into a routine!

Some upcoming events for the QB!
Coming up soon will be our Sept vendor event. It will be the Saturday of Old Timers Day from 8-2p. There will be no fee for this event. Looking for antiques as well! No leftover yard sale items please!

We are pumped to partner with The Makery on the coolest event to come!! Our Kids Mini Market where the kids are the vendors! We ENCOURAGE them to do as much as possible on their own with the help of parents/adults. We want their booth to have a business name and a little backstory to go with their business. There will be a $10 setup fee as well as them supplying their own tent and table. We want them to see what it’s like to run their own little business. I am not worried about having doubles of items because there will be plenty of family, friends and community to help support each of our talented kids.❤️

When your child registers(or when you help register your child), I would like pictures added of what is being made and/or brought. The ages for the market will be 5-18. If your student wants to share a tent with a friend, that will be allowed as well but there will still be a fee from each vendor. So if you have 3 vendors under one tent, that will be $30($10 each). That’s just business, kids!😉 I will drop the link below.

I also just want to take a quick minute to thank EVERYONE for the AC Chambers Best of the Best nominations! They are so wonderful for our county with all of their awesome events and ideas. We were nominated for Top 3 finalists, but unfortunately we had to decline.😩I don’t want anyone to think their time and nominations went unnoticed because it 100% did not. We have the absolute BEST customers in the land hands down, no matter what and we appreciate you so much more than you will ever know!❤️

It’s back to school eve! Tomorrow is not only the first day of school, but back to our normal long hours.🥴 I have enjoyed my short work days and long summer nights. I am however, excited to see the kids and hear how their summer was.

We’re also back on our soup schedule!

One last thing, I want to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone that donated to our B2S drive!! I will be taking everything to the schools later today! I don’t know what I would do without my community!! We love and appreciate you!!

Anyone have any guesses what today is?!! It’s our 3rd anniversary!!! August 17, 2023, Cheryl handed over her dream that she built from the ground up, and trusted me to keep it going. We had the absolute best years together!! It has been a wild ride, that’s for sure. But the way I have been able to love on my people and my people love on me, is something I’ll never take for granted! You guys have been terrific to me and my staff!!

So to show you how much you mean to us, we are giving away 3 gift cards today!! Just drop in your name in the jar and we’ll pull 3 at the end of the day!

We love each and everyone of you and we appreciate you more than you’ll ever know!

Gooood morning!! I hope everyone is doing well this morning!! You know I like to ramble, so this’ll probably end up and real rambler.

🫶First, I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by our vendor event on Saturday!! A special thank you to all of our vendors for taking the time to come and set up and playing a game of risk with the weather.😬 It ended up being ABSOLUTELY beautiful!!

📚✏️We are still collecting donations for our students and teachers until Friday! There is a tote in the dining area here at the shop where you can drop your donations in or there is a jar that is set up for monetary donations. THANK YOU for helping us to help our school!!❤️💙

☕️💛Another special thank you to all of our awesome customers that nominated us in the Best of The Best through our Adams County Chamber of Commerce! We truly do have the best customers, but we didn’t need a game to figure that out.😉 You guys have been there with us through the lowest of lows and the highest of highs and you still keep coming back! We appreciate you so so much!!

2 more things and I’m done…😂

🩷Tonight is our Adams county Breast Cancer Support Group meeting at 7pm here at the shop. Tonight’s guest speaker will be LaShaunda Vaughn, founder of Pretty Moments Boutique Care. I love how the ladies line up the best speakers and activities for one of life’s toughest journeys but it came with the absolute BEST support group!! They truly think of everything! They are the best!!

🗝️Last thing is about our upcoming vendor events. We will have our Sept event on the 19th. If am looking for antique vendors as well. Since it’s Old Timers Day weekend, I would love for people coming through to be able to stop and shop not only for vendors but antiques too! Ok, ok…it’s mainly for me but still..😂😂

They’re here and all set up!! It’s a gorgeous morning out there on the lawn!!

For our school donations, see Laura Applegate’s tent!! Can I just say, this woman is wonderful!! When I told her what we were doing today, she did not hesitate to jump in and say that she would help us set up at our donation tent! The countless hours that she puts in here at the Coffee shop, tutoring kids and having reading events is remarkable! So make sure you give her a little hug and just tell her thank you for all that she does for our community kids!

So in case I get lost in the chaos today, I just wanna say thank you, thank you, thank you, for being our biggest supporters!!
We appreciate you!!

Happy Friday afternoon!!! I feel like I have not stopped today!! We’ve been weather watching all week for our event tomorrow but we’re going to go for it!! We’re just going to pray that the rain holds off!

Tomorrow is our event dedicated to our kids and teachers!! We will be accepting not only physical donations but monetary donations as well. They will be divided between both the elementary and high school. I want to make sure everyone has what they need to have a great, successful school year!!

Teachers, feel free to message me or put in the comments, common items that are needed in your classrooms. By listing things that are needed, it will give our community an idea on what they can donate to help our school!! If you are a first year teacher, reach out to me and the QB will help you out if you’re in need of items!

We will be accepting items for our Care Closets as well. Feminine products are greatly needed. Pads, tampons, feminine wipes etc. I don’t think a lot of people think of this kind of stuff as a need in school. I would probably forget too. Deodorant is also something they can always use as well. The travel sizes are perfect.

We will be rescheduling our evening (8/8/26)events to a later date. With the risk of rain coming in tomorrow evening, I don’t want any of our equipment to get wet. So we will reschedule music by David Wayne and our movie night to another night.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for some coffee, conversation and community, right on our front lawn!

Good morning!! Look what was dropped off to us yesterday! Lauren has once again, just ran with my wild ideas and nailed it!! These Comfort Color tees are beautiful!!
This is a smaller drop, but more are on the way. She is a mama of 4 little girls, so give her a little grace. I can’t even imagine!🥴😂🩷

We are also still taking vendors for Saturday! Once we are past this August event, we will go into more detail about the really cool one in October!! I think it’s going to be the COOLEST featuring some of my favorite people…the kids!! AND we get to partner up with The Makery!! Even better!❤️
