We headed out to the new restaurant Kinos in Pembroke. So far so good. Fried green tomatoes and the fried mushrooms are pretty good. Update on the fish and chicken soon. Chicken Alfredo was enough to feed a family, Marcus says the, chicken sandwich w/curly fries were good, and the grilled 2 fish 2 chicken was ok. The grilled shrimp was fanominal.

Look where we are gonna be July 3rd. Then in Narrows on July 4th

Radford's Spirit of America Independence Day Celebration will be held on Friday, July 3rd from 4pm-10pm. There will be live music, inflatables, craft & food vendors and fireworks. We know it has been a little quiet on our end lately, but we have had our share of setbacks, with family matters, then health issues and now a few mechanical repairs. Shout out to some of the local businesses helping get us back on track. Rudisill's Garage, Shraders auto service, Auto Zone and many others. Once everything is ready we will be out there serving dogs and more. Have a wonderful Memorial Day and holiday break, remember you are loved. See ya soon.

Our Friday set up is gonna be a great one. Food trucks, food stands and vendors, all with live music and a gathering of community goodness. Bring a chair and come see us and come hungry. There will be plenty to choose from.

We are back in action. After nearly a month of light duty for me, and depending on Jerri, Steve, Julie and Marcus to get Simple Fixins through the set ups I just couldn't cancel on. We are now booking even more events than ever before. So give us a call or text soon because we are filling up quick, We will post a schedule soon. Simple Fixins is now at the Narrows Local Night from now til 7 o'clock this evening. Bacon bomb burgers are flying out the door already. Fruit cups are soooo good today.

We had fun at the Galaxy grub fest today at LewisGale in Blacksburg. Unfortunately, we can't make it to the evening part of it. The alien took mama Fixins but it wasn't long before it brought her back. Ransomed her for 12 hot dogs. What a deal!

On a positive note. Simple Fixins now has our business and food license in West Virginia. A big thanks to Sherry Dunn in Peterstown for helping me wade through the paperwork.

WALMART in Pearisburg is opening the garden center this weekend, and they invited us to come out and join them to help promote it. We have the seasons sweetest deal ever! We are selling our hot dogs buy 1, get 1 half off. Basically 2 for $6, chili is a little extra. We are also going to sell our lemon shakers 2 for $10. We will have sno cones available as well. Come out from 11 to 2 to get these deals.
