It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that our Cafe will be closing for good on February 19th, 2017...
There are so many emotions I have around this decision... I have developed a lot of great relationships with customers that I will miss, I will no longer work for myself, and I will now be going back to work in the corporate world. But, that's ok with me. I have some positives around this decision too... I get my weekends back, I can finally go to family parties (because I missed so many), and I can go back to church on Sunday mornings!
One thing I do believe, I believe my God has my family's back. I believe He will provide for us. Where he closes one door, he opens another. I have so much faith that he will take care of us. Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope." This scripture was given to us when we first opened the Cafe and has followed us around for the past 2 1/2 years!
I want to thank all of my family and friends that have supported us. I want to thank all of my staff for everything you have done to make this dream of mine come true. As the time gets closer, I will be more and more emotional. Saying goodbye will be the hardest thing for me, and I am sure for my staff as well, as they have built so many relationships.
I would also like to thank my amazing husband for being by my side and wanting to make all my dreams come true! I love you so much and couldn't imagine following these dreams with anyone else!!!
So, as I look back in sadness, I look forward with optimism; to a new chapter, a new beginning.
Thank you again for all of your prayers and support over the years, and may our paths cross again in the future.
