Hey everyone! We wanted to share Captain’s story: At only a year and a half old, he was dumped at a shelter as a puppy overnight and one of our very good friends took him home the next day and called him theirs, they knew it was meant to be when he came in. He was diagnosed with cancer last week. He is a sweet boy and needs some help. If you are able to share this with anyone you may know or donate to his go fund me, he would be furever grateful. Let’s help this sweet boy go on a road to recovery!

Hey everyone, it pains me to do so.. but our family is asking for help for our beloved dog,… Alexis Williams needs your support for Help Captain Fight Cancer

Schartner Farms asparagus debuted last week. Sold out in 3 days. It’s back. Until it sells out again.

Warm baby artichokes with caper-raisin agrodolce, sliced marinated olives, and fresh herbs.

A little sweet, a little sharp, a little briny, and exactly the kind of vegetable dish we want right now.

Official Quahog Week deserves official Rhode Island behavior.

Butter-poached quahogs over potato-studded Johnny cakes. Very Rhode Island. Very necessary.

Not saying this is worth braving the rain for, but also… yes, absolutely it is.

Nettles said “make me into bread,” so obviously we made them into green monkey bread with burrata. Spring is getting weird in the best way.
