Did you know that there was a KING at this location

Well before he was a KING he was just another young fella in love and wanted to marry his sweetheart

In the early 1950's they eloped to Chesterfield County because the laws were more easy for them to get married

So they thought

First trip her birth certificate said she was 17 and you couldn't get married without parents permission if you were under 18

So the second trip the next day The Future KING altered the document to say she was 18

They didn't want to let her parents know

So they were married

They didn't let them know until some time later
