It’s a Pataskala tradition – we’re open every summer to share all your seasonal favorites from ice cream and floats to Coneys and shredded chicken sandwiches. We boast over 30 different soft serve flavors, rich in taste and tradition! Enjoy some in a milk shake, float, or one of our specialty 2 & 3-layer sundaes like the Buckeye, Elvis or Bananas Foster. We want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked on us, prayed for us, and offered to help following this week’s historic flooding. The outpouring of love from our community has meant more than we can say. ♥️

The water has receded, but now comes the daunting task of rebuilding what was lost. We are incredibly thankful that our buildings were largely unaffected. Unfortunately, we did lose a significant amount of the riverbank on our property, and it is something that must be repaired immediately to ensure the safety and stability of our property moving forward.

We want everyone to know that we are taking this very seriously. We are working alongside professionals, the City, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to make sure the repairs are done correctly, safely, and in a way that protects our property for years to come.

So many of you have asked, “How can we help?”

The best way you can support us right now is simple: continue to patronize our business and tell your friends and family to do the same. Grab lunch, stop by for ice cream, share our posts, bring a friend, or simply help spread the word.

This is going to be a very expensive project—one we certainly never expected to face—but we love this community and want to do everything we can to safely remain open and continue serving all of you for many years to come.

Thank you for loving us, supporting us, and standing beside us through the unexpected. We appreciate every single one of you more than you know. ♥️

🏈 Friday night lights are officially back!

Tonight kicks off the high school football season, and we can’t wait to cheer on our two hometown teams—the Watkins Memorial Warriors and Licking Heights Hornets!

We’re especially excited to watch these five amazing Dairy Hut team members take the sidelines and cheer their teams to victory! 📣

Best of luck to both teams and all five of our cheerleaders this season! 🤩

The Dairy Hut will be opening at 4:00 today!

We are incredibly thankful that the Hut itself sustained minimal storm damage. Unfortunately, the surrounding property did not fare as well.

For everyone’s safety, caution tape and “Employees Only” signs have been placed around the damaged areas. Please do not go beyond these barriers or anywhere near the water bank while we work with the city and other professionals to assess and repair the damage.

While we are saddened by the storm’s impact on our business, we are even more heartbroken for our community and the families who have been displaced from their homes. We are praying for everyone affected as our town begins to recover. ❤️

🚨 Due to rising floodwaters from the creek behind us, dangerous road conditions, and widespread standing water, The Dairy Hut will be closed until further notice.

The safety of our employees and customers is our top priority. We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as we are able to clean up and reopen safely.
