Meet Jody Storsteen. ❤️
And if you’ve been around the Central Coast for a while, there’s a very good chance Jody has fed you before.
Her restaurant story started all the way back in 1989, when she purchased JBJ Round-up Pizza in Cambria. Then, in 2003, she brought her talents to downtown Paso Robles and opened the much-loved Berry Hill Bistro, where she built a following for the kind of food that somehow feels both special and like home. Years later, she brought Berry Hill’s “comfort food with flair” to The Third Degree at Paso Market Walk.
And now?
She makes the quiche at Just Baked. 🥹
Yep. THAT quiche.
Jody is one of those people who doesn’t need the spotlight and would probably prefer that we point the camera literally anywhere else 😂, but she’s spent more than three decades feeding this community, and we think that’s worth celebrating.
She’s talented. She’s kind. She’s an absolute powerhouse in the kitchen. And we feel incredibly lucky that a little piece of her culinary history now comes out of our ovens.
So next time you grab a slice of quiche, you aren’t just getting breakfast.
