❤️ ONE YEAR.
One year ago today, We unlocked the doors to Manetti’s for the very first time.
I remember the excitement.
I remember the fear.
I remember wondering if people would come.
And then you came.
You came for a sandwich.
You came for a plate of pasta.
You came for a muffuletta or a piece of lasagna.
But somewhere along the way, something happened that I never expected…
You became part of Manetti’s.
You brought your families. You brought your friends. You told people about us. You shared our posts. You encouraged us on the hard days. You celebrated with us on the good ones.
There were days this past year when I wondered if I was crazy for doing this. Days when I was tired, overwhelmed, or scared about what tomorrow would bring.
And then someone would walk through that door and say,
“We love your food.”
Or, “We’re so glad you’re here.”
Or simply, “We’ll see you tomorrow.”
Those little moments meant more than you will ever know.
Manetti’s isn't just a place where I make Italian food.
It is a dream that became real because a community believed in it.
So today, on our first birthday, I don't just want to say Happy Birthday, Manetti’s.
I want to say…
Thank you.
Thank you for every order.
Every kind word.
Every recommendation.
Every share.
Every time you chose to spend your money with us.
Every time you walked through our doors.
You gave this little Italian sandwich shop in Pascagoula something far more valuable than customers.
You gave us a home. ❤️
One year down.
And I hope, with all my heart, that you'll be there with us for many, many more.
