Foremost everyone is ok and we have safety precautions in place so we did not suffer that much damage. But I share this because I want our community to be aware of the importance of our neighbors to be vigilant when it comes to these thieves. I have never share this before, but today I was angry that we live in a world that is not safe. There is nothing to take in the cafe that can’t be replace snd no cash to steal that would even make this act worth anything. But still it’s disturbing, violating, and unfortunately a sign of the times. But does it need to be? What can we do? The sheriffs dept came out immediately, with all hands on deck and they will do their part. But we all need to do all part as neighbors, friends and family. Today, our staff went about our day to serve our customers, did a huge catering order, made cupcakes, and continue as if nothing happened. Because we have been through harder times. I briefly shed a tear in the car, but I stop myself cause I’m definitely not a victim and the bright side is everyone is safe and the glass got fixed. But if this is a sign of our times, let’s all work together to make life safer. So we can sleep comfortably at night. All the alarms are set, cameras at every angle, the police are patrolling the area and cupcakes are being baked around the clock. Our courageous staff protected our beautiful store and our team worked so hard today. In retrospect, we have dealt with bigger problems together, so we got this minor setback. Thank you to the hundreds of message today, I grew stronger from every message.
