Little Tokyo Update ❤️🍣

Hi Little Tokyo family! We wanted to share a little update with everyone.

Things are still moving forward, but unfortunately, not as quickly as we had hoped. We are still waiting to break ground on our new building, and at this point, it looks like we may not be able to welcome everyone back before the end of this year. 😔

We know many of you have been waiting patiently, and we can’t tell you how much it means to us when you message us, ask how things are going, and tell us how much you miss Little Tokyo. We miss you too! ❤️

Please know that we are still working hard behind the scenes, and we haven’t given up. We will continue posting updates here so you can follow along with us — and hopefully, we’ll have some exciting progress to share soon! 🏗️🍣

Thank you for your patience, your concern, and for continuing to support our Little Tokyo family after all these years.

We’re continuing to work with our architects, engineers, and the City of Pasadena as we move through the final steps of our new restaurant project.

Progress is being made, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. We’ll continue to share updates as milestones are reached.

While we’re working hard behind the scenes on our new home, we wanted to share one of our favorite dishes with you.

We miss serving fresh sushi and seeing all of your smiling faces every day. Every bowl we prepared was made with care, and we can’t wait to do it all again in our brand-new restaurant.

Our team is continuing to work on the new Little Tokyo project. There are still several steps before construction begins, but we’re getting closer! We’ll be sure to share updates and let everyone know as soon as we officially break ground.

Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for continuing to support our family. We can’t wait to welcome you back with your favorite Japanese dishes soon! ❤️

Saying Goodbye ❤️

After so many years, it’s hard to see these rooms empty.

These walls have witnessed first dates, family dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, and friendships that became family. So many memories were made here, and we are grateful for every single one of them.

Thank you for making Little Tokyo at Allen Center more than just a restaurant. You made it a home.

As we say goodbye to this chapter, we look forward to welcoming you to our new home at Burke & Fairmont. Once we break ground at our new location, we will be excited to share the progress with everyone and take you along on this journey.

Thank you for 24 amazing years of memories, laughter, and support. We will miss this place, but the memories will stay with us forever. ❤️🍣

A special thank you to our wonderful chefs and the team from Around The Clock Moving Company for helping us clean out and prepare this space for its next chapter. Your hard work and support mean so much to us.

These two aren’t just customers—they’re part of the Little Tokyo story.

John and Peter both worked here when they were still in high school. We watched them learn, grow, and become the men they are today. Seeing them come back through our doors all these years later always feels like family coming home.

Little Tokyo has been part of some pretty special moments in their lives. John even met his wife here, and they chose Little Tokyo as the place for some of their wedding photos. How many restaurants get to be part of a love story like that? ❤️

Over the years, we’ve celebrated milestones, shared laughs, and watched life unfold. Moments like these remind us that Little Tokyo was never just a place to eat—it was a place where friendships were built, careers started, and even love stories began.

Thank you, John and Peter, for being part of our journey. Watching you grow from high school kids into successful men has been one of the greatest rewards of the past 24 years.

For over 20 years, these wonderful ladies have been part of the Little Tokyo family.

Life has taken them to different cities, and some have moved away, but one thing never changes—whenever they’re back in town, Little Tokyo is always one of their first stops.

That kind of loyalty means the world to us. ❤️
