I absolutely love when clients send photos of their celebrations! ❤️

This beauty was created for a Father’s Day gathering—a three-layer chocolate and vanilla cake finished with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and a rich chocolate drip.

Many people know us for our sourdough and cinnamon rolls, but yes—we make cakes too! At The Baker’s Table, we’re proud to feature cakes by Frosted by Catherine. From birthdays and anniversaries to weddings and corporate events, we’ve had the honor of baking for some incredible clients, including Kansas City Chiefs players and recording artist Kesha.

Every cake is created with care and designed to help make your celebration memorable.

We take a limited number of custom cake orders each month, so if you have a special event coming up, be sure to inquire at least two weeks in advance.

Happy Juneteenth!

As a Texas native, Juneteenth is something I’ve celebrated for as long as I can remember. Long before it became a federal holiday, it was a day of remembrance, reflection, and celebration in my family.

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865—the day enslaved people in Galveston, Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It is a celebration of freedom, resilience, hope, and progress.

Living in the Midwest, I’ve learned that many people are just now discovering the meaning behind this important day. As a proud Black woman and small business owner, I don’t take for granted the opportunities I have because of those who came before me.

The bakery is open today because I believe in community. I believe in gathering, connecting, learning from one another, and celebrating what brings us together.

Whether Juneteenth has always been part of your story or you’re learning about it for the first time, I hope you’ll take a moment to reflect, celebrate, and connect.

We are officially at capacity for preorders and custom orders!

We are unable to accept any additional custom orders or online preorders with a service date between June 15th and June 25th. We have reached our production capacity and want to ensure every order we have committed to receives the attention and quality it deserves.

For future orders:

• Custom orders: Please book at least 2 weeks in advance.

• Online orders: We require a minimum of 48 hours notice, though many dates fill much sooner.

As our team continues to grow, we’ll be able to increase our capacity and serve even more of you.

Good news! Our bakery is still open and fully stocked Thursday–Saturday, so you’re always welcome to stop in and shop our pastry case while supplies last.
