We can’t confirm anything actually crawled out of the lagoon to make it…

This week is going to be a little UNHINGED. 😂☕️🏈🎀

First things first, Clementine is BACK at 600 ANN PKB . 🍊♥️ She just needed a little TLC last week, but the old girl is back in business.

Then things escalate quickly…

Thursday is FREE COFFEE THURSDAY at Towne Square Lofts , sponsored by Jan Dils Attorneys at Law ☕️♥️

Saturday we’re pulling off a TWO-EVENT DAY because why wouldn’t we. 😂

And then…

WE’RE OFF TO PITTSBURGH. 🥹🏈🎀

SIPS is headed to the Pittsburgh Steelers Crucial Catch Game and I still cannot believe I get to type that sentence.

A little behind-the-scenes update on BOTH of our new SIPS spaces because we’re just building things now. 😂🔨☕️

SIPS & Savors
Still very much giving construction zone 😂 BUT we’re getting close to the fun part. In about two weeks, we should finally be adding all the personality I’ve had living in my head tile, colors, counters, lighting and all the little details that are going to make it feel like SIPS. We’re still shooting for a December opening downtown. 🤞🏼✨ at Towne Square Lofts

The Dudley Building
This one is a whole different kind of exciting. HVAC is going in, walls are coming together and our future behind-the-scenes SIPS headquarters is taking shape. This will be our home for prep, production, inventory, truck parking and all the not-so-glamorous stuff it takes to keep this coffee company growing.

We’re hoping to start partially moving into Dudley in November and be completely in by January.

Two buildings happening at the same time. Two completely different purposes. But watching spaces that were once just ideas in my head actually become REAL?!

Pretty freaking cool. 🥹♥️

There is NO WAY this is real. 😂
So naturally, I Googled the guy.
Then searched him on LinkedIn. 😂
Well.

It was REAL!

THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS EMAILED SIPS.
Like… the ACTUAL Pittsburgh Steelers 🏈
And they invited our little coffee company from PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA to be part of the pregame experience for their Crucial Catch game. 🎀☕️

WHAT IS THIS LIFE?! 😂🥹

Three years ago, I was opening a coffee truck just hoping people would show up and buy coffee from me.

Now the Pittsburgh Steelers are emailing me.

And I know I say this all the time, but I hope you guys know how much of this belongs to YOU.

You showed up when SIPS was one little truck.
You gave this idea I had room to grow into something I honestly never could have imagined.

And now we get to take a little piece of the MOV with us to Pittsburgh. 🥹

But of ALL the games they could have invited us to…

October hits a little differently when you’ve heard “you have breast cancer” twice. 🎀

Both times, my cancer was found early.
And early detection gave me the greatest gift there is , more time.

More time raising my kids.
More time building this crazy little coffee business.
More ordinary days I’ll never take for granted again.
And I want another woman in our community to get that same gift. ♥️

For the third year, SIPS is raising money for the Pink Mammogram Fund through the Camden Clark Medical Center community foundation , helping uninsured and underinsured women right here in our community get access to mammograms.

Year one, you helped us raise $1,800.
Last year, over $3,000.

Grab a TaTaColada at the truck, or if you can’t make it, scan the Venmo QR and throw in $5, $10 whatever you can.

And please, make the appointment.
Don’t put it off.

I’m incredibly lucky to still be here raising my kids, making silly drinks and dreaming about whatever SIPS becomes next.

A little unexpected SIPS pop-up today. ☕️♥️
If you saw us at Bicentennial this morning and thought, “Wait… weren’t you supposed to be somewhere else?” SAME. 😂

Plans changed FAST this morning, and because we work so closely to Bicentennial Park, it gave us a place for our third landing spot of the morning and let me tell you…three moves before 8am is ROUGH😂

So Ridge Roast Coffee we hated that you saw us and left!! You absolutely could’ve set up right beside us. Honestly, we could’ve traded drinks and made a whole coffee morning out of it. ☕️

And since our last-minute pivot threw a wrench in your planned Wednesday at Bicentennial, if you want a day at 600 ANN PKB next week, it’s yours. Just let us know what day & we’ll make it available for you. ♥️

Small business is unpredictable enough. We’d much rather work together than worry about stepping on each other’s toes.

Clementine is currently getting a little mechanical TLC 😅 so Monday we’re down to one truck, but we’re hoping to have her fixed up and back slinging drinks on Tuesday. 🤞🏼

Until then, Poppy is keeping us caffeinated and the rest of the week is looking BUSY in the best way.

Cassie Jo Gutberlet & Sara Jung have been collecting and organizing books for a one day SIPS book swap! 📚 Come to the truck tomorrow, take a book, leave a book, swap a book, whatever you want. There are already some GOOD ones in there. 👀
