Happy Father's Day to all the Padres out there! 🌮👨‍🔧

Today we celebrate the men who taught us that every project is a 15-minute job that somehow takes 4 hours, 3 trips to the hardware store, and at least one completely unnecessary tool purchase.

We hope your day is filled with good food, cold drinks, and the kind of peace that only comes from sitting in a lawn chair silently staring at something you just fixed.

May all your flashlights be held correctly, may every 10mm socket find its way home, and may none of your screwdrivers be discovered six months from now while mowing the yard. May your thermostat remain untouched, your grass not grow another inch today, and nobody ask you to "take a quick look at something" five minutes before dinner.

And for the love of tacos, if your kids call today, answer the phone. One day they'll spend 20 years ignoring your advice just to realize you were right the whole time.

To all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, father figures, and the men who stepped up when they didn't have to, thank you. We hope you have an amazing day.

Now go enjoy a taco. The yard can wait. Probably.

If your lunch plans currently consist of staring into the fridge hoping something new magically appears, we've got a better idea. Come see us instead. 😂

Fresh tacos, loaded burritos, cheesy goodness, and absolutely zero judgment if this is your third visit this week. In fact, that's what we call loyalty.

The weather's nice, the grill is hot, and I'm legally obligated to stop eating all the food myself, so come help me out.

We'll be hanging out here until 2:00 PM, then we'll be packing up and heading to our next adventure.

Belleville, we’re headed your way today for the Farmers Market from 1–4! 🌮☀️

And since y’all are basically family at this point, here’s a little update from behind the chaos curtain…

Your boy’s little fryer on the truck has officially decided it can no longer keep up with the ridiculous ideas bouncing around in my brain 😂 So we’re upgrading the fryer, gas lines, propane setup, and all the fun expensive stuff in between. We’re about $500 short of getting everything wrapped up, so if you’d like to help support the madness, come grab some fresh tacos and feed the dream!

Once this setup is done, we’re gonna be able to bring some REALLY cool stuff to the truck without the fryer sounding like it’s filing for workers comp halfway through service.

ALSO, good news for everyone asking about the Tex-Mex Fish & Chips… we’re running it as a special in the restaurant! So if you missed it at events, you can now grab it in-store 6 days a week. Pescado Fritas lives on 🐟🔥

And seriously… thank you guys. Pride Fest and Taste of Parkersburg were absolutely incredible. The support you all showed wasn’t just for us, it was for every small business owner out there sweating through 90 degree weather and pretending everything is fine while the propane bill attacks us emotionally 😂

We appreciate every single one of you more than you know.

Bruv… La Finca Mexican Restaurant … go there. Seriously.

Look, I absolutely love my food and my tacos, but every now and then you get tired of eating your own stuff 24/7. Needed a reset button that wasn’t just inhaling queso in the walk-in at midnight, and this place checked every box.

Had an awesome date night with my beautiful fiancée, killer food, great atmosphere, and enough chips and salsa to make me forget about my inbox and adult responsibilities for at least an hour.

So do yourself a favor, get outta the house, go show them some love, and eat something that makes you question why you ever settled for drive-thru tacos at 11:30 PM. 🌮🔥

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

We are incredibly excited to be invited back to PrideFest again this year.

And before anyone decides to tell me what’s right, wrong, moral, immoral, political, or whatever else they feel the need to yell into the void, I’d encourage you to take a long hard look in the mirror first.

I am the very proud father of an LGBTQ+ child. And if I ever have to choose between supporting my kid or worrying about the dark places their mind could end up at night because they feel unloved, unseen, or unsupported… I’m choosing my child. Every single time.

I’ve failed a million different ways at a million different things in life, and I’m sure I’ve even failed as a father at times too. But one thing my children will never question is whether or not I love and support them.

Because this isn’t politics to me. These are people. These are somebody’s children.
Nearly 700,000 LGBTQ+ youth in the United States attempt su***de every year. That number alone should make people pause before they decide kindness is somehow controversial.

So yes, we’ll proudly bring the taco truck, sling food, celebrate people being themselves, and support a community that deserves love, safety, and acceptance like anyone else.

And if that hurts someone’s feelings that badly… I can sleep with that just fine.

I think sometimes in life you find a soul that is just... yours, and you are theirs. No conditions, no grudges, no expectations. Just love. The kind that never cares if the dishes got done, if you’re late getting home, or if the day beat you down a little harder than usual. Their whole world simply revolves around loving you.

Always waiting at the door. Always excited to see you. Whether you were gone 2 minutes or 12 hours, to them it felt like forever.

She got to be so many things in this life, a companion, a protector, a couch hog, a road trip partner, a beach bum, a farm dog, a city dog, family. Fourteen years of tail wags, happy dances, and unconditional love.

And that’s the cruel thing about dogs. They spend their entire lives giving us the purest love imaginable, and somehow they still never get enough time here.

I hope she was greeted by Jesse again. I hope they’re somewhere together, running wild, stealing snacks, chewing up toys they’re not supposed to have, and getting all the love they could ever want.

Rest easy, sweet girl. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.

Give your fur babies an extra hug tonight, guys. They really are one of life’s greatest gifts.

Guys we are set up here at the Wood County Library, bringing a little taste of Jimmy’s a little closer to you! 📚🌮

So stop by the truck, grab some pasta, grab some tacos, and leave happier than a librarian finding out somebody actually returned a book on time.

We’re here for lunch, slinging comfort food, bad decisions, and enough cheese to heal emotional damage. So if your stomach is yelling louder than your responsibilities, come see us!
