📰 BREAKING NEWS: Local Grill Cook Goes the Extra Mile, Blows Debris Off Patio Before Opening
PARIS, TX — In what onlookers are calling a stunning act of initiative, The Vintage Hangout’s owner — who also serves as the restaurant’s grill cook — abandoned his grill prep station this morning to personally blow the leaves off the front patio.
“You know, there’s just no one around here designated to do that job,” the owner told reporters, leaf blower roaring, grill sitting unattended.
When asked whether watching the grill cook walk away from his station to clean the patio inspired her to go out there and help, lead bartender Skyler didn’t hesitate.
“No,” she said. “I was already inspired by all of the other s**t that I have to do, like making the teas and filling the ice buckets, and it inspired me to stay my course because we open in 10 minutes.”
At press time, the patio was completely clear of debris, the grill was described as “getting there,” and the leaves could not be reached for comment.
