🍎 September Was Delicious in Henry County School Cafeterias! ❤️💙

September was a busy month in our cafeterias, and our School Nutrition teams served up so many great things for our students!

🥐 Hot sausage biscuits and special Grandparents Day breakfasts
🍓 Beautiful fresh fruit choices packed with color
🥪 Student favorites like BBQ chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, wraps, pizza rolls and more
🍗 Hot, homestyle meals prepared and served with care
🥛 Plenty of choices to help students build a complete meal
👩‍🍳 And most importantly—an incredible team working behind the scenes every day to make it all happen!

Our cafeteria teams do so much more than serve meals. They prep, cook, welcome students, try new ideas and work hard to make our cafeterias a place students enjoy coming to each day.

Great food. Great people. Great things happening in Henry County School Nutrition! ❤️💙

And remember—breakfast and lunch are FREE for ALL Henry County Schools students every school day!

🍦 A Sweet Gift for Our Students! 🍦

Henry County School Nutrition would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Cassidie Autry for her incredibly generous $2,500 donation to our School Nutrition Program! ❤️

Cassidie’s donation will be used to help provide ice cream treats, snacks or extra entree options for PreK–8 students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to purchase one. This thoughtful gift will allow us to make sure more of our students can enjoy those special little extras alongside their classmates.

We are so grateful for Cassidie’s generosity and her heart for the students of Henry County Schools. Sometimes something as simple as an ice cream or snack can put a BIG smile on a child’s face! 🍦😊

Thank you, Cassidie, for helping us spread a little extra joy throughout our cafeterias! ❤️💙

❤️💜 Grandparents Day at Henry Elementary! 💜❤️

What a wonderful two mornings celebrating our Henry families! We loved welcoming grandparents and special guests on Friday and today for our Grandparents Day Breakfast & Book Fair.

Our cafeteria crew served up sausage biscuits, fresh fruit, juice, milk & coffee but the best part was seeing all the smiles, conversations, and special memories being made around the breakfast table. 🥐🍓🍊

A huge THANK YOU to our grandparents and guests for getting up early and spending the morning with us, and to all of the Henry staff and volunteers who helped make everything run smoothly. We are so thankful for the families who support our students each and every day! ❤️

Next up… Harrelson! 🎉
