Most people walk into a store and see a lavender plant.

I walk into a store and see charcuterie boards, grazing tables, cream cheese art, edible flowers, and beautiful presentation. 💜🪻

It's funny how your perspective changes when you start doing something you truly love.

A few months ago, I probably would have walked right past it. Now I'm over here debating whether I need a bigger lavender plant because I've already used most of the blooms from the one I bought a few days ago!

The truth is, presentation matters. We eat with our eyes first, and sometimes it's the little touches—a sprig of rosemary, an edible flower, a pop of color—that take something from good to unforgettable.

So while most people are shopping for flowers, I'm over here shopping for future charcuterie boards. 😄

When I look at a charcuterie board, I don't just see meat, cheese, fruit, and crackers.

I see color. Texture. Balance. Beauty.

I remember something my mom told me years ago: "You eat with your eyes first." Food should be colorful, inviting, and something that makes you want to take that first bite.

Maybe that's why I love this so much.

Some people look at a blank canvas and see a painting. Some look through a camera lens and see a photograph waiting to happen. When I look at food, I see possibilities. I see a story waiting to be told through colors, shapes, and flavors.

My very first grazing table was at a family Thanksgiving years ago. I remember everyone gathering around it, admiring it, and almost not wanting to touch it because it looked too pretty to eat. That moment stuck with me.

Creating these boards and grazing tables brings me a sense of peace that is hard to explain. It's creative. It's challenging. It's beautiful. And seeing people enjoy something I've made with my own hands never gets old.

Tonight, my heart is full.

I'm grateful for every order, every share, every encouraging word, and every person who has supported this journey.

Can I take a minute and celebrate a little? 💜

Yesterday I posted my new charcuterie snack boxes and hoped for a few orders.

As of tonight, I've sold nearly 20 boxes. 🤯

For some people that may not sound like much, but for a small business owner trying something new, it's huge. Every order represents someone choosing to support my dream, and I don't take that lightly.

There have been a lot of long days, a lot of second-guessing myself, and a lot of wondering if I was making the right move. Days like today remind me why I keep going.

Today's event was a little bit of organized chaos. 💜

While this setup was coming together, I was also clocked in at LongHorn taking care of guests and some pretty large tables.

Was everything exactly how I would have done it if I had been able to focus on it 100%? Probably not. But at the end of the day, the guest of honor felt loved, everyone enjoyed the food, and that's what matters most.

From custom charcuterie letters to my first cream cheese art display, I'm proud of what we pulled off today.

Building a dream doesn't always look perfect. Sometimes it looks like juggling tables, food, decorations, and a hundred other things all at once.

And honestly? I'd do it all over again.

Okay, can we talk about how much fun this was?! 🤩

This is my very first edible cream cheese art piece, and while it's definitely not perfect, I am completely hooked!

Made with flavored cream cheeses and finished with edible lavender and fresh rosemary, this display became part of a beautiful baby shower spread this week.

Watching guests react to it and hearing how much they loved it made all the effort worth it.
One thing I've learned over the last few weeks is that growth happens when you're willing to try something new. Sometimes your first attempt isn't perfect, but it's the first step toward creating something amazing.

I already have a hundred ideas for the next one, and I can't wait to keep practicing, learning, and seeing where this creative journey takes me.
Here's to trying new things, making beautiful food, and never being afraid to start before you're ready. 💜
