Happy Mother’s Day! 💐 💝 Today, we remember Fannie Quinn. In 1884, she fled a difficult marriage, and together with her young daughter, Minnie, sought freedom in the wilderness of Montana where she found the love of her life in Martin Quinn, for whom our resort was established by and named for. Fannie created a place of warmth and welcome for her daughter as well as the guests who frequented the resort. Her giving heart consistently showed up for her community and family, and during her final acts of service, she passed away in 1919 while nursing others during the influenza epidemic/pandemic. This Mother’s Day, we remember Fannie, a mom whose care and love for others continues to live on in the spirit of Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort.
