Naturally, when you turn 80, you deserve a custom cake to celebrate. 🥳🤩

Gigi loved my daughter’s first birthday strawberry lemonade macarons so much that we had to turn it into a cake. 🍰🍓🍋 this cake was three layers of a punchy lemon cake, with whipped strawberry buttercream, and strawberry jam center.

And this was my first time since opening MERLS that I ventured into sugar cookie world again, and I enjoyed it so much, I may consider offering them in the future. 🤭

Here’s a super fun soccer/baseball cake for Oliver. He loved the trash truck Hank character so much that I decided to try my hand at making him to sit on his cake. See the last pic for the model photo. How’d I do? 😬🤭

Made two cakes this past week 😍

First one was an 8” chocolate cake for sweet Murphy’s 5th birthday. (I remember when her Mama told me she was pregnant with her and I cannot believe she just turned 5 😭). This cake reminds me of a mermaid tail and I am obsessed with the colors.

The second cake was for Gabriel’s “Bear-y” First Birthday. An adorable 6” smash cake with vanilla cake and chocolate buttercream. Gabe is my daughter’s absolute bff at daycare, and I was honored they let me be apart of such a special day.

Jack is Two!

Made this cake for a Trash Truck loving boy and I was dying all week to make it, I just knew it was going to be precious. Everything in this cake is edible (minus the internal supports). The cab is made from Rice Krispies and covered in chocolate ganache and then vanilla buttercream. The cake was marble with vanilla buttercream. All the details were fondant. 😮‍💨🤤

We are incredibly grateful for the immense blessing of living in a free nation, and for the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect that freedom.
