And notice I said IF..
I WERE to bring an additional breakfast item to the menu.

What would you choose between these 2 options?

I know... but I want to make sure.

This isn't a tease, but a plan. Will it be here, or will it be in another location?

IT’S GYRO WEDNESDAY!
🌱🌯

Two gyros. Two fries. Two drinks. Slaw. $20.🎉

Yep. The whole shebang for twenty bucks — and you can order this special ONLINE, too!

BUT… we’ve been playing in the kitchen again.

Today we’re testing out an Italian Sausage, Peppers & Onions hoagie, and we only made a handful! This one is a little market test to see if you guys think it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. So if you get your hands on one, you better tell us what you think!

These are only $10.95 with ff, drinks and slaw today y'all.

And apparently we woke up and chose dessert today too...

Pumpkin Brownies drizzled with pumpkin butter AND these ridiculous Chocolate Peanut Butter Oreo GIANT Cupcakes. each.

Because sometimes Wednesday needs a little extra encouragement.

Come hungry. Seriously.

RAINY TUESDAY = COMFORT FOOD WEATHER.

And lucky for you… it’s TWO-FOR-TUESDAY at The Green Table!

Grab TWO of your favorites for just $22:

Shawarma

And yes… that includes fries, slaw AND drinks.

But maybe today’s rain has you craving something a little more cozy…

A hot, melty grilled cheese dipped straight into a bowl of our Tomato Basil Soup?

Yeah. That sounds about right.

Whether you’re here for the Two-for-Tuesday deal or just need a little grilled cheese and tomato soup therapy on this rainy day, come get warm, get fed, and let us do the cooking.

Tuesdays taste better at The Green Table.

We are SO happy to finally share this with our Green Table family!

You’ve watched 26Roots grow right alongside us, and every time you enjoy our 26Roots products at The Green Table, we want you to know exactly what we stand for and the values behind the food we make.

We’re proud to share another important step forward for 26Roots Foods.

26Roots Foods has joined PETA’s “Eat Without Experiments” program and signed the “No Animal Testing Unless Explicitly Required by Law” Statement of Assurance.

Our commitment is clear:

“26Roots Foods does not and shall not conduct, fund, commission, or allow any animal testing for any purpose, unless explicitly required by law.”

For us, plant-based has always meant more than what’s on the ingredient list. It means continuing to make choices that are better for animals, people, and the future of food.

We’re proud to take this step as 26Roots continues to grow.

26Roots Foods
Plant-Based. Purpose-Driven. Made Without Animals.

Well… this was definitely one for the books.

Thank you, Robert, for trusting me with your birthday cake and challenging me to make something I honestly haven’t made in quite a while—a good old-fashioned Hummingbird Cake.

Now listen… I’ve made A LOT of cakes over the years here at The Green Table. Some pretty. Some not so pretty. Some that made me question every life decision that led me into a kitchen. Lol.

But THIS ONE.

Three layers of banana, pineapple and pecans, covered in cream cheese frosting and weighing in at OVER 10 POUNDS.

She was a BEAST.

And I loved every minute of making her.

She wasn’t perfect. She was perfectly rustic, a little messy in all the right places, ridiculously heavy, and exactly how I pictured a big old-fashioned Hummingbird Cake should be.

This one challenged me in the best way. It made me slow down, think, figure things out as I went, and reminded me how much I really do love creating something I haven’t done a hundred times before.

Robert, I truly hope you enjoyed your birthday beast as much as I enjoyed making it for you. Thank you for giving me the challenge and trusting me with such a special part of your birthday.

Sometimes it’s good to get outside of what you do every day and remind yourself that you’ve still got it.

And this 10+ pound Hummingbird beast definitely reminded me.

Happy Birthday, Robert. I hope it was everything you wanted it to be. 🌿
