A New Chapter for L & T Bar-B-Q ❤️
We wanted to take a moment to give all of our wonderful customers and friends a quick update on what’s been happening at L & T Bar-B-Q!
We haven’t gone anywhere, we’re simply growing and upgrading our little business! We are working hard to transform the inside of what many of you will remember as the old VFW Hall at 200 Commerce St. in Palacios.
Our goal is to create a place where everyone can come in, sit down, enjoy a good meal, or grab some delicious Bar-B-Q to carry out. We are excited to announce that our projected opening date is the first part of September! 🙏❤️
This opportunity is something we truly prayed for, and we believe God opened this door for us. We are so thankful for a very precious lady and for the many members of our community who have helped make this next chapter possible.
To everyone who has stopped by to check on us, asked when we will be opening, or simply offered a kind word and well wishes, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Your encouragement means more to us than you know.
For those who may be new to L & T Bar-B-Q, we serve homestyle Bar-B-Q, fresh off the pit, homemade sides, and homemade desserts. ❤️
And don’t forget, we are still catering! If you have a wedding, family reunion, birthday, church gathering, or any other special event coming up, we would love the opportunity to serve you and your family.
Four years ago, Luis and I stepped out in FAITH and began selling our Bar-B-Q in the parking lot at Family Dollar. From there, God allowed us to move into our little 12x24 building on Henderson, across from the high school parking lot. Now, He has opened another door for us, and we are so grateful for where this journey has brought us.
We truly love what we do. There is nothing better than seeing the smiles on our customers’ faces and knowing that we’ve served them a meal they enjoyed. Our desire is simple: to serve the best food we possibly can and to serve our community with love.

Most of all, we want the Palacios community to know that we have not forgotten where we came from or the people who helped us along the way. Every customer, every kind word, every prayer, and every helping hand has played a part in getting us here.
