Hi friends! We’re sorry about building up last week’s Frame Shop Friday post and then missing it. Truth is, serious illness has knocked on our door again. It’s not just the baby this time- this downtown framing gal is down with pneumonia.

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, and for the several closures lately. I promise we’ll be back open as soon as it’s safe and we’re able! Fingers crossed that means tomorrow, but I just don’t know. We’ll keep you in the loop as we go.

Happy Frame Shop Friday, Paducah! 🖼️ 🥳 We’ve had some really fabulous orders come in since we reopened in July, and I’ve been itching to share this one with you!

As many of you know, preservation framing is very important to this shop and we avoid using adhesives when at all possible. We also love a good challenge! 💪 So when our client Caleb described his vision and the props he wanted to include in his certificate shadowbox, we were psyched.

The only item in this shadowbox mounted with adhesive is the foam ball- the crayon box, the figure, and the sharpie were all hand sewn discreetly into the matboard. Literally each crayon is held into place with a piece of thread! Cuckoo, determined, detail oriented? Maybe a little of all three.

Big thanks to Caleb Buford Creative for trusting us with such a fun project, and having the creativity to pair these items in the first place! 🎨

Edit: Full disclosure folks, our youngest is ill and will be in the hospital for another day or two, so we will be unable to open the shop again today. We stopped to snap a photo of this sweet little order that our client brought back from her travels. Stacked frames are surprisingly affordable when you’re framing small if you’re looking to add a little extra to your order ✨👌

Good morning friends of framing! We have decided to close today for a personal day- we thought about saying we were sick, but really we just haven’t had more than four hours of sleep in the past three nights because we have a fussy one month old baby 🤷‍♀️

If you’ll forgive us a personal day we’ll be back in action and (hopefully) less exhausted tomorrow! Just give us a holler if you want us to come in for a pick up, we live right down the street and would be happy to come in for an appointment. ❤️

We’re back, friends! 📢🥳

Between chatting with all the friendly faces at the counter and little Auggie keeping our hands full we’ve been too busy to update the page properly- but we did open back to regular hours on July 7th and have been so grateful for all of the orders that have come in already!

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we took the time for family, thank you for the warm welcome back and helping us keeping the lights on. We have the best clients, hands down. And we know it.

If you haven’t yet, come by for a visit! The two of us would love to see you. ❤️

Good morning Paducah! 🌼 Thank you all for the love you showed us at the Lowertown Arts & Music festival over the weekend, it was so good to see so many familiar faces!

Unfortunately we do have to close the shop today and tomorrow not only to rest and recover, but to take care of our sick toddler who is unable to return to daycare until Thursday. Please call or text if you have any questions or concerns about your orders- we still expect to have all of our orders finished within advised time frames.
