There has apparently been a miscommunication about our hours. We have not totally closed our doors. We are still open on Thursdays from 4:30 - 8:00 and on the occasional Saturday night when we have Live Entertainment.

Next Saturday, October 26th, is a very special day for us! It is Lovey’s 60th, spooktacular Birthday! And we are going to wish her a Happy Birthday the right way! Starting at 8:30, the Ryan Waters Band will hit the floor for all the ghouls and goblins, so come dressed for Halloween!

We will have BBQ plates for sale that night, but, since it’s Lovey’s Birthday, the kitchen will not be cooking.

Make sure to be here that night because we are going to have a lot of fun!

Doors open at 5:30!

Well... we’re going to try something here at Lovey’s Home Plate and hopefully y’all will work with us. After looking over some things, it’s sometimes about realizing that maybe you’re not offering all that you can to your customers. You need to get creative and offer something that is uniquely your own.

So, this Thursday, we are going to have “Open Up The Menu” night and serve a series of dishes we never have! While there are many entrees like them, you can only get these at Lovey’s since each of them will feature our own specific blends of seasons, spices, and sauces. As most of you already know, our Grilled Wings are the bomb, but they kind of overshadow some of the other menu items.

So, if you come out is Thursday night, we politely ask and highly recommend that you give one of these new meals a try! Some are hearty and filling, but don’t worry, we’ve also thought about those of you who want something on the lighter side!

To help you decide which of these dishes you want, we will have some samples on hand so that you can taste before you order. And, as a thanks to our customers, we will also have select specials and a little bit of live entertainment in the outdoor area that night!

Check out what’s below and see what’s new! But make sure to come out this Thursday night, September 12th!

And, yes, combo platters of the various dishes will be available that night!

Mongo’s Crunchy Wrap- A chicken wrap with just the right mix of crunch and the house special Mongo’s Sauce.

Mo-Mo’s Spicy Wrap- A crunchy chicken wrap with a little bit of a Mo-Mo’s Sweet Bite Sauce.

Lovey’s Tango Wrap- A crunchy chicken wrap that “dances” with just the right amount of cool ranch and Lovey’s Zesty Sauce.

Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap- A wrap with a bit of traditional mesquite flavor. Add black beans for the full Southwestern flavor.

Lovey’s Golden Battered Chicken Tenders- Hand-breaded chicken tenders blended with Lovey’s House Dry Rub and buttermilk.

Lovey’s Crunchy Chicken Wings- Hand-breaded chicken wings blended with Lovey’s House Dry Rub and buttermilk.

Grilled Chicken Salad- A flavorful salad that will hit the spot. Add black beans for a more Southwestern feel.

Ok... we’ve had a lot going on this summer, but it’s about time to have a get together... Lovey’s style... So, Saturday, August 3rd at 8:00, put on your dancing shoes and come on out and listen to Ryan Waters and Boyd Blackmon!
