Owasso Family Billiards was built on generations of family, friendship, and community..and now, it’s our turn to carry that forward! Our story started nearly 40 years ago, when Jackie’s family opened a small, family-friendly pool hall in Bakersfield, California. At the time, much like Owasso today, there weren’t many places designed for families to gather, play, and feel welcome. That little pool hall quickly became a local favorite and naturally grew into additional family-run ventures, all centered around creating warm, inviting spaces for people to spend time together. Those businesses were family-owned and operated, and Jackie spent much of her childhood inside pool halls: playing, learning, and watching firsthand what it takes to build a people-focused business. During those years, Joe’s dad was a close family friend, often helping out with handyman work and spending time around the room. Our families crossed paths many times over the years without realizing just how connected our stories already were. In 2011, we officially met while working at one of those family businesses: the pool hall that had been Joe’s favorite place to play, and the one Jackie was managing at the time. From there, our story naturally unfolded, and we’ve been building our dream together ever since. Over the years, we’ve grown together not just as business partners, but as a family. This place holds special meaning for us: we’re dedicated to creating an inviting atmosphere where everyone, whether you’re reliving those first days or making new memories, can feel at home. People often ask us where we’re from and why we chose Owasso. The answer is simple: our grandparents on both sides were born and raised in Oklahoma, and we’ve always known this is where we wanted to plant our roots. Owasso felt like home even before it officially became our home: and now, we're here to stay! Everything at OFB is centered on Family. Food. A welcoming place designed for all ages.

🎱 READY OR NOT… HERE WE GO, OWASSO! 🎱

We are incredibly proud to officially announce the GRAND OPENING of Owasso Family Billiards on Thursday, October 1st!

The Owasso Chamber of Commerce will be joining us for our ribbon cutting ceremony from 11:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by a small photo shoot. Once that wraps up, we will open the doors to the public immediately afterward!

We know this is a little short notice, but if you would like to come watch the ribbon cutting, we would LOVE to have you there. There is a large grassy area directly in front of the building, so weather permitting, there should be plenty of room to gather and help us celebrate this moment.

And to our First Rack Club members… keep a VERY close eye on our next post! 👀

This Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, First Rack Club members will have the opportunity to reserve a spot to come inside OFB before we officially open to the public.

Again, we are so sorry for the short notice. We are still putting the finishing touches on everything and getting our team comfortable with all the moving pieces that come with opening a brand new business. At the same time, we know Owasso is just as eager to get inside as we are to finally open these doors!

So instead of trying to go from zero to a packed house overnight, we think the best way to do this is to ease into it together.

These early reservation times will allow us to keep the number of guests manageable, give our new staff a chance to learn and get comfortable, work out the little things we know will come up, and hopefully give everyone a much better experience when October 1st arrives.

We would also LOVE your honest feedback. Tell us what works, what does not, what you love, and what we can improve.

Most importantly, we just ask for a little patience and understanding while we learn. This is brand new for our staff and brand new for us too.

We know there will be bumps along the way, but we truly believe Owasso will be every bit as understanding, supportive, and encouraging as we hoped when we decided to build this place here.

One small opening day note: alcohol sales will not be available just yet while our ABLE license is still pending. We are hoping to have that in place very soon and will keep everyone updated!

We cannot wait to finally open these doors.

We know some of you applied quite a while ago, and we completely understand that many may have found employment since then — and we hope you did!

We’re looking for motivated, experienced people who are ready to work hard, learn, and grow with OFB.

🍔 Kitchen Staff — 16+
Help prepare our menu, work fry/grill stations, keep the kitchen stocked and clean, and follow food safety standards.
Food Handler Card required.

🎱 Floor Attendants / Servers — 18+
Take care of guests on the floor, take and deliver food and drink orders, assist with pool tables and equipment, keep the floor organized and clean, and provide great customer service.
Food Handler Card + required Oklahoma alcohol employee licensing/training.

🍟 Food Runner — 16+
Help keep food moving from the kitchen to our guests, assist servers, keep service areas stocked and clean, and help the team wherever needed. A great fit for someone dependable, fast-moving, and ready to learn.
Food Handler Card required.

🎉 IT’S OFFICIAL… FINALLY! 🎉

OFB officially has FULL OCCUPANCY and our FOOD PERMIT! 🙌🎱🍔

Yes… we know. It’s about time. 😂 Trust us, nobody is more ready to open these doors than we are!

We told everyone we were opening in September, and after everything it took to get here, we are determined to make good on that promise, even if that means starting small before the BIG celebration. 🎉

Our next step is getting our team trained, testing everything out in the real world, and working through those inevitable “well… we didn’t think of THAT” moments before we turn the whole community loose in here. 😅

We are coordinating with the City of Owasso Chamber of Commerce plan our official GRAND OPENING & RIBBON CUTTING, tentatively for October 1st or October 6th! 🎀✂️🎱 The final date will depend on weather and availability with the City, since ribbon cuttings are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Either way, we cannot wait to finally celebrate this huge accomplishment with everyone!

Over the next several days, we plan to start opening the doors with limited hours and/or reservation-style early access sessions so we can ease into things, get our staff comfortable, and make sure everything is running the way it should.

🚨 FIRST RACK CLUB MEMBERS... keep an eye on your email! 👀🎱 You’ve been promised early access from the beginning, and you’ll be the first to hear about those opportunities before we release them publicly. Spots and times may be limited and could fill up fast, so please keep an eye out when those emails go out! And if you aren’t able to make one of the pre-opening timeframes, don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere! ❤️🎱

Because let’s be honest… we’re pretty sure Owasso isn’t accepting any more delays from us. 😂😂
