This dish is a tribute to my dad for his birthday. This is the first birthday without him, and soft-shell crab was one of his favorite things to eat. I’ve never been good at expressing my emotions, but I express them through food. So this is a soft-shell crab and tuna tartare dragon roll I made for my family tonight. I miss and love you very much, Dad. Happy birthday!!
