“I’ve owned multiple businesses here in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It wasn't an easy process; I was born and raised in North Macedonia but am ethnically Albanian and came to the U.S. for more of an opportunity for me and my family.

I moved to the U.S. April of 1973 and have dealt with restaurants since. I love to cook, it’s my passion, I’ve learned a variety of different recipes while working in many types of restaurants. While working in the restaurant business, it has taught me many life lessons. Through long hours and determination, I became successful. While staying committed to something you love doing, it becomes a purpose. I love to watch UFC fights and different sports. With that interest, I created a sports bar and grill that hosted many events including boxing matches, volleyball tournaments, etc. But that is not the only thing life has taught me, I have two sons and a daughter and am blessed with three beautiful granddaughters. To me, that is true wealth. You don’t need a lot of money to be rich — if you have your family, you already have everything.

I'm retired now but still help out at my son's restaurant, The Good Yolk Pancake and Cafe. My favorite dish there is the blueberry crepes. I could eat 100 of them in one sitting! I still try and keep myself busy, I like to either travel or spend time with my family. Being able to relax and enjoy my time is nice, I get to appreciate all the hard work I put into my businesses. “
