We're now accepting orders for Thanksgiving desserts through November 11th, but why wait!

Thanksgiving will be here before you know it, and if you would like help with your holiday baking Do Good is the answer to your prayer! We are taking orders for pies, cheesecakes, apple dumplings, and our chocolate flourless cake (gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free).

All orders to be placed by Wednesday, November 11th by 7:00 pm.

Note that we are closed Sundays. Pick up will need to be by Noon on Wednesday, November 25th. We close at 2:00 pm that day and will open our doors again Saturday, November 28th for our White Christmas Sale!

Any order of 10 or more desserts will provide you with a 10% off your dessert oder. Orders over 15 desserts will provide you with a 15% off your dessert order.

Submit your entries for “Sending His Love” and “Wrapped in His Love” by the end of this week!

This year’s contest submissions are due by Saturday, October 3, 2026. Winners will be selected from each contest and category to be printed and made available for purchase at Do Good during the Christmas season.

For "Sending His Love", Artists must be in 7th–8th Grade, artwork must be on paper measuring 4.25” x 5.5” or 5.5” x 4.25”, and winners will be printed on greeting cards.

For "Wrapped in His Love", Artists must be in 4th–6th Grade, artwork must measure 6'x6", and winners will be printed on wrapping paper.

Artists are encouraged to use any medium—pencil, markers, paints, crayons, etc. We will incorporate a Scripture passage around winning artwork, so please limit text in artwork submissions. Please include the following information on the back of submitted artwork: category, artist name, phone number, school/church, and address.

What if caring for the mind and body could also open a door to deeper faith, stronger families, and renewed hope? We welcome Kim Rosenbeck-Rose, LPCC-S to our next Growing Your Faith on October 13, as she shares the mission and vision of something new taking shape in Celina. Spiritus Dei Wellness Center is bringing trusted wellness professionals, meaningful programs, and genuine human connection together in one place—with a vision for the whole person: body, mind, and soul.

At this talk, you will discover why Spiritus Dei was created, what makes its approach different, and how a faith-centered understanding of the human person can speak to real-life needs for healing, belonging, purpose, and connection. The Center is founded in faith and welcomes any background.

You will hear how Spiritus Dei is becoming a collaborative home for mission-aligned independent professionals, including Dr. Aaron Kuhn and his new counseling practice, Selah Space—and how the nonprofit will extend that impact through programs open to the wider community.

Beginning in winter 2027, proposed programs will address identity, dignity, relationships, mentoring for young women, sharing the story of salvation with children, and finding resilience and connection to Christ amid suffering. These are only the first steps in a much larger vision for wellness education, faith formation, youth and families, and community gathering.

Come hear what Spiritus Dei could mean for individuals, families, and our community—and discover how you might be part of what comes next.

Don't forget to join us for our annual “Holy” Halloween at Do Good! This year’s “Holy” Halloween will take place the following days:

Thursday, October 15 from 6:00-8:00 pm
Friday, October 16 from 6:00-8:00 pm
Saturday, October 17 from 2:00-4:00 pm

This event is used to help teach children, family, and friends of all ages the Christian meaning of Halloween. Come “trick-or-treat” with St. Michael the Archangel, St. Henry, and many other holy people. Children will be given a trick-or-treat bag as they hear the story of each holy person and receive a candy treat, prayer card, or another Christian gift. Costumes are welcome (please no devils, witches, etc.). The event is free with no charge—a free-will offering will be accepted at the end of the walk path.

A Holy Halloween will be located in the Children’s Memorial Garden at Do Good Restaurant and Ministry on the walkways and courtyard. We ask you enter through the courtyard, and park off site at the St. Nicholas Church, or Osgood Park. All three have sidewalks that will bring you to Do Good. There is lighting along the paths to Do Good. We cannot wait to see you there!

There's still two days left to register for Do Good's "Casting Nets" father and son retreat on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm! Last day to sign up is September 21 at 9:00am.

This retreat is for fathers and their sons, ages 10-14. This retreat will be lead by Paul and Alex Knapke at the residence of Ellen Hefner (3201 Redmond Road, Russia, Ohio 45363). The first portion of the retreat will feature guest speaker Mark Travis. The second portion will be “hands on” with fishing using fishing poles and nets.

This retreat is free of charge. A complimentary lunch will be provided by Do Good.
