If you have visited our Diner within the past year or so, you may have noticed our eggs are super high in protein with golden yokes.
That is because we get our eggs (30 dozen/week) from a local supplier based out of New Haven. Bill Huebsch runs W.C. Loecher Farms and delivers to us once a week. Today we were running low for the weekend and did not want to get the "white" eggs from the store down the road. I reached out to Bill, and by God he delivered within 2 hours.

That is the kind of service that is much appreciated by our local businesses. Their eggs are very unique in color, flavor, and taste. If you ever thought, "an egg is an egg", you just need to stop in and order some scrambled, over easy, or an omelet.

Getting the beef liver cut and slabbed for our monthly liver & onions lunch this Friday, May 29th. Thursday it will soak in milk overnight. Then coated, lightly fried, and baked in the oven. This is the best liver around if you are a liver lover.

Call early to reserve or come anytime after 11 a.m. to make sure you get your iron fix.
