The Garretsons celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, and their family has been coming to the farm since 1977. It has been a pleasure to serve this family for nearly 50 years!

Gardening at Hickory Bridge Farm always seems to have a few surprises!

Sunflower update from owner Mary Lynn:
“The sunflowers we purchased as a “cutting” type for us to decorate the restaurant grew only 18 inches tall, but short is beautiful too! On the other hand, Elena, our 8-year-old granddaughter, gave me a few seeds, and they are nearly 14 FEET tall! My favorite variety are from my bird-seed bag and are perfect for cutting! What beautiful creations we have at the farm!

We would like to thank all of our guests who came for our special anniversary summer dinner this past Sunday! Everyone especially enjoyed the music, the delicious vegetables from the garden and of course the peach ice cream pie! The awesome music was by Rebecca and Dempsey Price.

Hickory Bridge Farm would not be a success without our family, the staff and our wonderful guests, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

What a wonderful update from Mary Lynn! (For anyone new to the page, Mary Lynn owns Hickory Bridge Farm!):

“What a big surprise! Brenda Reed surprised me on what would have been my mother’s 102nd birthday. When Brenda made her dinner reservation, I mentioned to her it was my mother’s birthday. After our conversation on the phone she said she knew in her heart it was right to give me one of her handmade quilts. A few hugs and tears were shared. We all miss mom, grandma or Nancy Jeane. May she rest in peace. Happy Birthday!”

Yesterday (July 31) would’ve been Nancy Jeane’s 102nd birthday. 💫❤️
