Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today is a great day to offer one of our favorite desserts, the Chocolate Churro Cookie! This deeply rich, mega Chocolate Cookie is filled with cinnamon sugar and a tiny pinch of ancho and cayenne to give you that smoky, warm finish. Each Cookie has a layer of Dulce de Leche in the middle and is filled and topped with a mix of six different chocolates, including our favorite Mexican Stone Ground Chocolate. I don’t talk about Cookie Bites enough. I started making these babies about 16 years ago, when I wondered if it would be possible to level up a Gideon’s Cookie. Happy Valentine’s Day! Today, I’m very happy to tell you about an extra special Gideon's Cake that is available this Valentine's Weekend. Back when Gideon's only existed in my kitchen, I would sell cakes with a Cheesecake center. The recipe was passed down to me from my Italian family. In 10 years, it has never been duplicated in a cake until this month. The Valentine Trinity Cake features a layer of Strawberry Cake, Chocolate Cake, and Italian Cheesecake. It also has three different buttercreams: Strawberry, Chocolate, and Marshmallow. NOTE : Please keep this one cool. A good Cheesecake can be delicate and may release moisture when subjected to varying temperatures. If that happens to you, just give it a little dab to return things to max pretty. Treat it right, and you will be filled with sweet romance.⁣⁣
