This weekend we’re launching the Oreo Double Stuffed Sugar Cookie! Those who've been around know that, despite its popularity, I have a bad habit of giving our classic Cookies & Cream Cookie a hard time. BUUUUT WOW I love the new Stuffed Sugar Cookie version! It's a rich Chocolate Dough made with Black Cocoa Ganache stuffed with a chunk of Cookies & Cream White Chocolate Faux Fudge and covered in crunchy Sanding Sugar! I ate the middle of every one of the Cookies in that photo. Just sayin.

NEW BITE ALERT! It's the new Blueberry Lemonade Cookie Bite! This is an IYKYK item on the Gideon's Menu that, admittedly, I don't talk about enough. Cookie Bites are created when we take a full, almost half-pound Gideon's Cookie, cut it into quarters, and dip it in premium Dark Chocolate! Some might think they are a great way to sample different flavors, but, in truth, they are a whole different experience! In my humble opinion, they are amazing with a hot latte! ⁣

Look for varying flavors in stores throughout August, including the first appearance of the Blueberry Lemonade Cookie Bites in both locations from August 4th to the 9th!⁣

The Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie: a thick almost half pound PB Cookie laced with Freshly Ground Lineage Roasted Decaf Espresso and fully covered in chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Reese's Pieces! It should be overly sweet, but that Espresso Bean works to balance it all out for a unique and flavorful experience! The Aliens are gonna flip their lid over this one! This Sunday at 10am we’ll be celebrating 10 years of Gideon’s making its first public appearance. If you know the story, after selling cookies out of my kitchen for 8 years, I had my first pop-up at the East End Market on 7/19/2016 and never left! I had lost Überbot, my first business. My beloved dog, Lupin, passed. I was working at the mall, and trying to pull myself out of the long struggle from losing everything, and East End saved me. The community around East End supported me. And because of you, Gideon’s sparkled from the shadows. We have stayed local, turning down every offer to nationalize. I’m still a single-owner with no investors. We’ve grown to a 200+ team. We’ve raised funds for cats, bats, turtles, owls, sharks, bees, and wolves. We’ve weathered pandemics, egg prices, hurricanes. It’s been a ride that has brought so many laughs and tears. ⁣
⁣
To my team, past and present, I could never have made it without you. To the community, you have made all things possible. I realize I’m often a withdrawn person. I don’t seek a spotlight. The older I get, the more I want to hide from social media and human contact in general. Truth be known, Gideon’s popularity has brought both blessings and curses, and I struggle with it more than I let on. But there is one thing I always appreciate: talking to you. When I run into a local lover of Gideon’s in Publix, I genuinely enjoy our one-on-one time together, and I’m sorry if my introversion ever suggests otherwise. Cause sometimes I be weird y’all. With all that said, let’s have fun together this Sunday. ⁣
