Originated by Ian Russell, a classically trained chef and high-honors graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), and his wife Juliana, a local foodie and donut fiend, Smoke & Donuts® menu is a sweet and savory affair unique to Central Florida. Beginning life as a pop-up restaurant and eventual food truck, Smoke & Donuts was voted one of Orlando’s Top 3 food trucks. More recently, Smoke & Donuts was recognized by USA Today as one of Orlando’s Top 10 barbecue restaurants. Rooted in smoked BBQ USDA Prime brisket, Carolina pulled pork, brown butter turkey breast, and Bama/Carolina pulled chicken, Chef Ian meticulously melds his pit master skills with scratch sides and a lineup of decadent made-to-order cake donuts. Home of the famous Lou Donut, a fresh cake donut topped with Maker’s Mark bourbon and maple glaze, Heath bar and Hershey’s milk chocolate chips, this ‘Sweet Lou’ sports a brisket burnt ends topper.
