Happy Father's Day to Harry and to all of the great dads out there!

I'm extremely grateful to have him as both a dad and a mentor.

My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.

I take so much pride in being a part of this family owned and operated business.

The same goes for my special needs younger brother, Austin. He puts his heart and soul into his food prep work in the mornings.

High Tide Harry's has been around since 1995, this will be our the restaurant's 32nd Father's Day.

Every year we sincerely enjoy being able to take care of the families that dine with us to celebrate, it's an honor to serve you and be a part of making memories.

We're open for normal business hours today on a first-come, first-served basis (11 AM until 9:30 PM).

‼️Bite 30 Menu Release‼️

We asked you if you wanted us to participate in this year's Orlando Weekly Bite 30 event and it was a resounding yes, so here we are!

It's a 3-course meal for $38 that starts on Monday, June 1st and runs until Monday, July 13th. (Dine-in only, NA on Father's Day)

It's our first year participating, so we wanted to make sure we put our best foot forward and offer a great value with some of our most popular entrées and best sellers:

• Crab Legs 🦀
• Lobster Tails 🦞
• Scallops 🤤
• Grouper 🎣
• Shrimp 🍤

They typically allow 3-4 options for appetizers or entrées, but they agreed to let us extend it to 5 each. 🤚😁

It's also standard for restaurants to include the sides with the entrées, but we wanted to give you your own choice of 2 side items or 1 premium side, including our three homemade soup options!

It doesn't mention it here, but you're definitely getting the hushpuppies & cinnamon butter too!

When we asked if you wanted us to do it, we had someone comment that they had celiac disease and asked us if we could include gluten free options, so we made sure to accommodate that! (GF)

Wednesday is our Oyster special day, so it just feels right!

The special is $1 Oysters (Raw • Steamed), $2 Oysters (Charbroiled • Rockefeller) and $1 Top Neck Clams (Raw • Steamed • Sautéed in Garlic) by the 1/2 dozen or dozen all day long every Wednesday (dine-in only).

Wash them down with one of our Specialty Wines by the Glass, only $6 for a 6 oz. pour and $9 for a 9 oz. pour, with options like Kendall Jackson Chardonnay and Meiomi Pinot Noir.

The correct # of oysters in the box was 120! 🦪

The first person to guess correctly was Michelle Diaz, she wins the dozen oysters of her choice.

The second and third persons to guess correctly was Jennifer Sharp and Brooke Koonce, you each win 1/2 dozen oysters of your choice.

We said we would give out prizes for the top 3, but seeing 2 more people guess correctly had me want to push it to 5. So, Jeff Hopp and Susan Casper Kolkedy will be the 4th/5th winners, also getting 1/2 dozen oysters!

I was at a restaurant in New Smyrna beach with my brother-in-law.

He opened up the menu & within 5 seconds said, "Crab Rangoons." 🦀

I asked him, "That was fast, you really like those?"

He replied, "If I open a menu and see Crab Rangoons, I order them with no questions asked."

It got me thinking... we don't have those, but we could.

We ordered some pre-made from one of our distributors just to try them out and see their ingredients list.

We had the staff and a few regulars taste test them and the feedback was they weren't bad, but just ok.

We're not looking for just ok, we want them to be fantastic.

We knew we could make them better in-house.

So, we got to work on a recipe and eventually we had a finished product.

Then came the moment of truth, the brother-in-law taste test.

Here's his word for word feedback:

"Filling is 9/10. Dumpling might have been a tad overcooked, 6.5/10, we'll chalk that up to human error. Sauce is fire, 9/10. Overall, absolutely fire. 8.5/10, I would order a second round with potential to hit 9.5 territory. Super unique and good while maintaining all Rangoon properties. Definitely had not had anything like it before, I think it'll be a hit and should go on the menu. Where else can you get a seafood based Rangoon? It's literally one of one."

For me personally, I loved everything about his review but the overcooking part of course, so you know we had to have him back to try them again.

2nd Visit Feedback: "Filling proportion was 10/10, didn't feel robbed of crab meat or anything like that, cooked perfectly tonight too."

So there you have it, the story behind how Crab Rangoons got added to the menu.

Made by hand in house, stuffed with a generous portion of real Lump Crab Meat, less cream cheese & other ingredients, served with a sweet chili sauce.

It's Oyster Wednesday! 🦪

These are our Charbroiled Oysters 🔥

They're topped with homemade Garlic Butter, Parmesan Cheese, Old Bay & Cajun seasoning.

We broil em' & serve with more garlic butter and garlic bread.

They're $2 each all day long on Wednesdays along with Oysters Rockefeller.
