Every pastry has a story, let me tell yours! A party without a cake is just a meeting. Let me create Storybook Delights is a local Orlando cottage bakery.

That delivers to the surrounding Orlando area. We also have a shipping option available. Our main goal is to create anything that a person can think up. We love to push the envelope on every creation and make flavors as well as decorations pop. There are a few specialty flavor cakes that were inspired by popular candy bars as well as traditional cakes. So if you have any questions please feel free to contact us. We strive to make sure we deliver the best product possible. We do not have a physical location for a bakery currently, but dreams of having one in the future. Any special dietary desserts can be arranged. All the items I create are on shared equipment and no matter how well I keep them I cannot promise no cross contamination. I can cater for parties as well. Please message me for prices and items.

Tomorrow is my turn! ❤️

The Makers Market & Farmacy Grand Opening weekend is officially underway, and tomorrow I’ll be there for Meet the Makers!

I’ll actually be spending most of the day at the Farmacy. I’m volunteering as morning support from 9 AM–1 PM, then from 1:30–3:30 PM I’ll switch hats and officially be there representing Storybook Delights for Meet the Makers.

So if you’ve been following this whole Farmacy adventure since I first moved onto my little shelf back in June, come see me! I’ll have some goodies to sample, and I’d love the chance to actually meet some of the people who have been following, shopping and cheering Storybook on along the way. ❤️

A little brownie lineup change is happening! 🍫

Cookies & Cream Brownies have had a good run, but lately they haven’t been getting quite as much love as some of the other flavors... so I think it’s time to let them take a little break.

Taking their place in the regular brownie lineup: NUTELLA! 🤎

My fudgy chocolate brownie paired with Nutella feels like a pretty solid replacement, if I do say so myself. 😂

This does NOT replace October’s Trick-or-Treat Brownie—that little monster is still the Brownie of the Month! Nutella is joining S’mores, Peanut Butter and Brookie in the regular lineup.

Cookies & Cream may make its way back into the story someday, but for now I want to give something new a chance.

So, Nutella fans... did I make the right call? 👀

BIG RESTOCK DAY! 🛍️

I warned you earlier this week that I was skipping my normal Wednesday Farmacy trip because I was saving it all for one BIG restock before Grand Opening weekend... and today is the day!

The Storybook Delights shelf at The Makers Market & Farmacy is getting loaded back up, and I have quite a few new things joining the shelf this time!

🥟 Mystery Dumplings are being restocked
🌈 NEW Froot Loops Cereal Bars
🎃 NEW for October — Pumpkin Loaves, available plain or with chocolate chips
🤍 A fresh batch of Vanilla Extract is arriving in NEW 4 oz bottles
🧂 And my spices, infused sugars and finishing salts are getting a brand new display!

Plus, of course, I’ll be filling the shelf back up with brownies, cookies and plenty of your other Storybook favorites.

The Farmacy Grand Opening is happening Saturday AND Sunday with samples, giveaways, raffle drawings and Meet the Makers throughout the weekend.

And don’t forget—I’ll be there Sunday! I’m helping as morning support from 9 AM–1 PM, then I’ll officially be representing Storybook Delights for Meet the Makers from 1:30–3:30 PM.

Friday night means I’m back at the Dixieland Night Market! 🌙

The Storybook Delights booth is set up and ready for the night with brownies, cookies and plenty of goodies to get your weekend started properly. 😂

And after tonight, the weekend is just getting started... I’ll be at Polk County Women Mean Business tomorrow morning, followed by the Farmacy Grand Opening and Meet the Makers on Sunday.

A little Friday reminder because I’ve been getting a few questions about both of these lately!

I am no longer able to deliver directly to 🐭 Resorts. I DO still deliver to Universal Resorts, and if you’re staying at a 🐭 Resort, I have a convenient meet-up location just outside Animal Kingdom with both an AM and PM meet-up window.

And for my Travel Agents—I can SHIP! 📦 If you’d still like to surprise your clients with a little Storybook magic, I can ship a treat box to arrive before their trip, OR you can send one after they get home as a “thank you for booking with me” surprise. Between the two, the after-trip box is actually my favorite! It gives them one more little piece of vacation magic to look forward to after the suitcases are unpacked and the post-vacation blues kick in. 😂

And while we’re talking ordering—Storybook Delights is just me! I’m the person baking, decorating, shopping, delivering, stocking the Farmacy, working markets AND answering your messages.

Weekends are typically my busiest time, especially now that I’m doing more markets. A lot of Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are spent prepping, loading the car, traveling to events and standing behind the Storybook booth, on top of that weekend’s orders and deliveries. That means I’m not always able to sit down and work through messages as quickly as I can during the week.

I promise I’m not ignoring you! I answer messages starting with the oldest in my inbox and work my way forward as soon as I’m able.

One little tip: sending multiple messages before I respond can move your conversation back down in my inbox. If you’re ready to order, sending as much information as you can in your first message—including what you’re looking for, your date and a good email for your invoice—helps me get you taken care of much faster.

SOMEONE FOUND IT!!! 🥟✨

One of the Golden Dumplings has officially been found! And even better... they caught the whole discovery on video, so I finally got to see someone open their Mystery Dumpling and realize they got the GOLDEN one. 😂

But did you catch what I said?

ONE of the Golden Dumplings. 👀

After my birthday, I quietly slipped another Golden Dumpling into the mix. And just like the first one, I have absolutely NO idea where it is. Once they're packaged, labeled, stacked, moved around and restacked, even I don't know which little dumpling is hiding the gold.

So congratulations to our first Golden Dumpling finder!! 🥳

But the hunt isn't over yet...

There is still ONE Golden Dumpling hiding out there. 🥟✨

October's Brownie of the Month has officially arrived... and these little guys have a trick hiding under all that chocolate. 👀🎃

Meet the Trick-or-Treat Brownies!

Each box has four of my fudgy brownies dressed up as colorful little monsters with buttercream hair, Halloween sprinkles and edible eyeballs. They may look cute on the outside, but every brownie has a sweet little trick baked inside!

And NO, I'm still not telling you exactly what the trick is. 😂 You'll just have to bite into one and find out.

After all the debating about what I should hide inside these when I first asked you guys for ideas, I decided Halloween needed a little mystery. Nothing weird, nothing disgusting—I promise! Just a little surprise waiting inside each brownie.

They're available throughout October at The Makers Market & Farmacy and will be part of Friday's BIG Grand Opening restock!

Wedding Wednesday! 💍

Last week was a TWO wedding week for Storybook Delights, and the two themes couldn't have been more different!

On October 7, I had the honor of making Elizabeth & Jordan's wedding cake—a simple teal and white design finished with an adorable UP-themed topper. Sometimes you really don't need a ton of extras to make a cake fit a couple perfectly. ❤️

Then on October 9, it was Brooke & Gavin's turn with a completely different look—a beautiful wildflower theme! And apparently somewhere between two weddings, three markets, a Farmacy restock and my birthday being thrown into the same week, my brain decided taking a picture of their finished cake was optional. 🤦‍♀

So unfortunately I don't have a cake photo to share from that one, BUT I did remember to photograph one set of their cupcakes, so at least I have photographic evidence that I was, in fact, there.

Congratulations again to Elizabeth & Jordan and Brooke & Gavin! Thank you for letting Storybook Delights be a small part of two very different—and very special—wedding days. ❤️

Apparently today is National Dessert Day... which feels like a holiday I am professionally obligated to celebrate. 😂

But now I have a question, because asking a pastry chef to pick ONE favorite dessert is completely unfair.

If you could have absolutely ANY dessert put in front of you right now—no calories, no cost, and you don’t have to make it or clean up afterward—what are you choosing?

And I don’t just mean cake! Cookies, brownies, cheesecake, pie, ice cream, crème brûlée, tiramisu, doughnuts... whatever dessert immediately popped into your head when you read the question.

Mine might change depending on the day, so I’m going to need to think about my answer. 😂

A little Farmacy restock update for this week! 🛍️

If you’re used to seeing me pop up with a Wednesday restock, I’m switching things up a little this week. I’ll be heading to The Makers Market & Farmacy on FRIDAY with a much heavier restock to get my shelf ready for Grand Opening weekend!

With everything happening this week, it just made more sense to combine my trips instead of driving back and forth to Lakeland multiple times. My gas tank and wallet appreciates this decision. 😂

So if the Storybook shelf is looking a little picked over right now, hang tight! I’m working on filling those spots back up with brownies, cookies and plenty of goodies for the weekend.

And this is a BIG weekend at the Farmacy! The two-day Grand Opening is Saturday AND Sunday with samples, giveaways, raffle drawings and Meet the Makers throughout the weekend.

Five minutes later I’m walking through the store balancing ingredients like I’m competing on some kind of grocery-store obstacle course because apparently getting a cart would mean admitting I was wrong.

And somehow “one or two things” is never actually one or two things. 😂

It’s official—the Farmacy is having its GRAND OPENING! 🎉

Save the dates for October 17 & 18 because The Makers Market & Farmacy is celebrating with a TWO-DAY Meet the Makers Grand Opening Event!

There will be samples, giveaways, raffle drawings and, most importantly, a chance to actually meet some of the makers behind all of the goodies you’ve been seeing on those shelves—including ME! 😂

I’ll be setting up for one of the Meet the Makers time slots with Storybook Delights, and I’m already working on some fun ideas for my booth. I’ll share my exact day and time as soon as we get closer, along with what I’ll be bringing!

I suppose I finally have to admit that my birthday week is over. 😂 Thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes, comments and messages! You guys definitely made me feel loved.

Of course, I got the ONE cake I request every single year: Cold Stone cheesecake ice cream with strawberries and graham cracker. 🤤 We have a very important birthday rule in our house—the cake has to be big enough to share with everyone, BUT whatever is left after the birthday celebration belongs to the birthday person. They can eat it whenever they want and share it if they want to.

I usually don’t. 😂 It’s MY birthday cake. Get your own.

But as much as I love my cake, I think my favorite part of my birthday this year was the card my son made me at school. He hand drew the whole thing, made sure to put stingrays on it because he knows they’re one of my favorite animals, and then had his entire class AND some of his teachers sign it for me.

When he gave it to me and explained everything he had done and why he chose the stingrays, I may have cried a little bit sitting in the car. 🥹

Meanwhile, Dad’s response was basically, “Well... I guess I need to up my birthday card game,” because apparently he just got completely one-upped by his own son. 😂

Between my favorite cake, that card, time with my family and all of the love you guys sent my way, I’d say it was a pretty great birthday. Thank you to everyone who helped make it special. ❤️

And technically October isn’t over yet, so I’m not completely convinced birthday month has to end just because birthday week did. 😂

Mental Health Day, and I almost wondered what else there was to say after sharing something that personal.

But maybe that’s exactly the point.

Mental health isn’t something we should only talk about after a tragedy, during an awareness event or when someone reaches a crisis. It’s something we need to be able to talk about on the completely ordinary days too.

Check on your people. And really check on them. Listen without judging or immediately trying to fix everything. Sometimes someone doesn’t need answers; they just need to know they have a safe place to be honest.

And check on yourself too. It’s okay to admit when you’re struggling. It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to have good days and bad days. And it’s okay to have days that weren’t really either one; days you simply got through. Not every day has to be productive, memorable or something you conquered. Sometimes getting through the day is enough.

You are not too much. You are not a burden. You are enough. ❤️

After being in TWO places at once last night, Storybook Delights has officially reunited into one booth today. 😂

I’m set up at Pickers Paradise Open Air Market & Craft Fair in Lake Hamilton today from 9 AM–3 PM!

It has already been a WEEK between two weddings, the Farmacy restock and three markets packed into two days, but the booth is loaded and I’m ready for one more market day.

Chef Confession: I really don’t like pumpkin spice. 😂

Pumpkin pie? Absolutely. But when it comes to putting pumpkin spice in everything the second fall rolls around... you can keep it.

There is ONE exception.

Dunkin’s Pumpkin Spice Munchkins. 😂 That’s it. Apparently if you make it tiny, round and cover it in glaze, suddenly I’m willing to participate in pumpkin spice season.

Pumpkin spice coffee? No. Pumpkin spice drinks? No. Pumpkin spice everything? Nope.

But put those Munchkins in front of me and apparently all of my principles disappear. 😂

So now I want to know—what’s your fall food confession? Is there something everyone goes crazy for that you just don’t get? Or do you have ONE very specific exception like I do?

Apparently Storybook Delights has figured out how to be in TWO places at once tonight. 😂

I’m all set up at A Night of Mystic Arts at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry from 5–9 PM! I’ve been looking forward to this market... although there is a very real possibility I’m going to spend some of the money I’m supposed to be making tonight. Someone remind me I’m here to WORK. 😂

Meanwhile, over in Lakeland, Shanna has taken over the Storybook booth at the Dixieland Night Market! So whether you’re closer to Casselberry or Lakeland, you can find Storybook goodies tonight.
