Meet German Lemus! Born in Honduras, raised in Miami, stationed in Hawaii with the U.S. Army, and surrounded by vibrant colors and cultures his entire life. You might recognize him for his mixed-media portraits of familiar faces and animals, but it’s his surrealist landscapes, layered with metaphor and symbolism, that reveal a true creative powerhouse.

Inspired by music, culture, nature, and current events, his work is conceptual, beautiful, and endlessly intriguing. Stare at one of his pieces every day and you’ll find something new.

As a founder of Downtown Orlando’s B-Side artist collective, German’s bold murals already live all over town. This month, his vision transforms our walls.
