Jeow Mak Len with Grilled Sticky Chicken Pizza
Parm Jeow b**g Wings
A typical lao meal usually consist of sticky rice, a grill protein, and a sauce. One of my favorite is sticky rice, grilled chicken, and jeow mak len. My idea when it came to making this pizza was to incorporate the jeow mak len into the sauce, and have the grilled chicken as topping, while substituting the carbs for the pizza dough.
Jeow b**g is a sweet and savory Lao chili paste originating from Luang Prabang, Laos. Jeow b**g is made with sundried chilies, galangal, garlic, fish sauce and other ingredients commonly found in Laos. My idea was to turning this sauce into a glazed for fried chicken wings with parmesan with blue cheese.
