I just wanted to clear something up.

I have never claimed to be a professional baker, nor have I ever said I went to culinary school or had formal baking training. Sweet Treats By Shanell started because I genuinely enjoy baking and wanted to turn a hobby I love into a way to earn a little extra income.

Like many small business owners, I’m learning, growing, and improving with every order I make. Every treat is made with care, quality ingredients, and appreciation for those who choose to support me.

Not every small business begins with professional certifications—many begin with passion, dedication, and the courage to start somewhere.
