We’ve been feeling very nostalgic since it’s been 4 years of Lucid. SO we want to take you on a journey of flavors and favorites. Here’s a little glimpse of our imaginative and weird way of curating drinks, starting with 4 seasonal drinks that became people’s personality. ! Spoiler alert: none of them stayed “seasonal” 😂

Creating drinks is truly an art form for us, and we hope that you can taste the love and intention that we put into creating each and every cup. We’re not just chasing flavor, but a feeling that it brings. ✨

Once we got into the Specialty Coffee world we noticed chai meant different things to different people. This was our attempt to make a quintessential “One True Chai”.

We noticed Orlando was missing a cacao source, so in 2023 we challenged ourselves to make something truly one of a kind. It’s funny how we unintentionally ended up making the most on brand drink for a shop with “beans” in the name. It was one of those moments of discovering who you are in the process of the unknown, and the universe saying the step was always there.

Once we discovered the magic of Dates & Coffee at home, we noticed it was nowhere to be found on menus in Orlando. We made the First Date as a way to celebrate the introduction of Dates to people’s coffee world. Are we mad shops are following in our footsteps with recipes that look oddly familiar? Absolutely not, because at the end of the day it means more people can get the best, healthiest sweetener as an option. It makes us proud we tried Something New, and now others can too.

4 years of Lucid 💜🤩 It’s almost unbelievable how time has flown by so quickly and it’s all because you have helped make our dreams possible; Thank you for supporting our small but mighty coffee team. We’ve poured so much of our love and energy into creating Lucid and you all make it worth it! ✨

This weekend we are truly grateful to be here now, so we will be doing some fun giveaways to celebrate~ Free mini bottles, free nostalgic stickers, and extra treats of course! *while supplies last 🖤

This week marks 4 years since our very first pop up, and it feels a little like deja vu. Now we’re opening our dream shop in the same corner of the world where it all started.

In October 2022, we found out we were confirmed for our first market just a few days prior, during the week of a hurricane. We probably got 2 hours of sleep at most as we spent the night before driving around looking for ice and water, trying to find a store that had some left. We’ll never forget, greeting our very first customers with nothing more than 2 tables, some beans and a dream. It’s funny how we were so caught up in scrambling to get ready, it silenced the part of us that would have been nervous about having people try our drinks for the first time. Looking back, it’s easy to see the spark that happened that day that set everything in motion. When the first few people that stopped by all asked “where’s your shop located?”, we didn’t know what else to say but “you’re looking at it”.

We’re so grateful to those people that didn’t judge us by what we were missing, but the substance and potential we didn’t even know we had ourselves. We’re grateful to ourselves for taking the scary leap of faith when most around us doubted everything from “How could the coffee market grow more” to “how can you have a coffee shop without dairy” and especially “how can a couple work together?”. We can’t deny all of these things were challenges we’ve had to face, but we can honestly say we’ve come out the other side so fulfilled. It almost feels like we can go back and tell those versions of ourselves, “Actually, your shop is right down the street, you just don’t know it yet.”

In celebration of Hobbit day and the weather finally feeling like fall, we will be doing a few special things to celebrate all things big and small. This weekend we will be extending our hours from 9am-1pm on Saturdays & Sundays at our camper. We will also be offering a new fun treat for you to try - our house-made pumpkin loaf, our fan favorite guava & cookie butter empanada (La Bandida), as well as a fun drink promo to celebrate - buy one, get one half off Harvest drinks~ 🍂

We will also be hosting our dear friend C-M Bakari who will be bringing fresh organic sourdough loaves and doing a sourdough toast bar to make things feel like a true harvest - so come hungry or ready for second breakfast! 🍞

Lastly, we are continuing our pre-orders for pickup this weekend; all orders placed this week will be available on Saturday for pick-up or Sunday if you are unable to make it on Saturday ✨ Pre-orders are available through our website, so click the link in our bio to secure yours.

“May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out”

For us, a logo is more than just branding and a sticker to slap on a cup that gets thrown away. It’s a symbol of who we are and the energy we want to embrace. Us elder emo’s are no strangers to facing the darkness, running a business brings a fair share of that more than we’d like to admit. These days, we feel it’s important to find the light more than ever, in hopes that peace will spread. While our drinks look super pretty and colorful, more importantly, they are intentionally crafted with ingredients that are nutritionally proven to reduce stress, calm the nerves and promote inner peace. We intentionally use a darker roast and particular dose to hit that sweet spot of focus and energy…without the anxiety and jitters. Us introverts are bad at leaning into how and why we do things, we prefer to let the drinks speak for themselves, but this is us trying to be a beacon of light for those who need it.
