If your house doesn't have at least one sign about chicken fingers... is it even ready for fall?

09/25/2026

Just a really big fan of sauce and football.

Chicken fingers have never looked as good as they do in slow motion on a jumbotron.

We’re not saying our golden fried original chicken fingers win games, but our golden fried original chicken fingers win games.

🌟 General Manager Spotlight 🌟

Meet Alexis Ames, the smiling face leading our team at Guthrie’s downtown Opelika❤️

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Alexis has been part of the Guthrie’s family for 6.5 years. Her favorite food (besides our famous chicken fingers, of course!) is ballpark cheese fries. 🧀🍟

What Alexis loves most about her job is building strong relationships with both her team and our guests. She believes in treating every team member as a valued person—not just an employee—and that care and respect shine through in everything she does.

Next time you stop by Guthrie’s, be sure to say hey to Alexis! We’re proud to have her leading our crew and serving our community with heart every single day. ❤️🩶
