That’s a wrap on The Jack 2026!

The Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational BBQ is always a special one. Getting to compete alongside some of the best teams in the world is what this BBQ game is all about.

Although we didn’t get the overall results we were hoping for, we did take home 1st place in sauce with a perfect 180! 🔥

We had one hell of a time doing what we love, cooking great BBQ, hanging with great people, and making more memories along the way.

A special congratulations to our good friend Janice, Russell and family of Janice SmellaQue on winning by a big margin! Janice Smella is truly one of the nicest and most humble people in BBQ, and we couldn’t be happier to see her take home the win. So well deserved!

Congratulations as well to B's Que Crew on Reserve and on an absolutely monster week of BBQ!

I’m especially proud to be cooking alongside Erik Christensen and my son, Gavin Hunter. Sharing the pits, the hard work, and the experience with them made this cook even more special.

What a weekend at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue 🏆🔥

Porky Butts took 3rd place overall BOTH days, competing against 160 teams in the Invitational and 360 teams in the Open! We also pulled off a perfect 180 in ribs on Day 2.

A huge thank you to my wife and family for always supporting me, Marty for being my Athletic Box runner, and Erik “Thunderbuddy” Christensen for being my trusty sidekick.

Special thanks to Snake River Farms for an amazing weekend and the best briskets, and to the American Royal World Series of Barbecue, The Kansas City Barbeque Society, and all of the volunteers who made it happen.
