Some words from my website Ai, which i felt were appropriate for this piece.

The type of collector who feels this right now:

This piece will resonate deeply with:

Someone who wants their home to feel like a small sanctuary—not a showroom.
People drawn to nature and water who don’t want a literal seascape, but the feeling of it.
Collectors who appreciate handcrafted, tactile work and are tired of flat prints and mass-produced decor.
Folks in therapy, healing, or spiritual journeys who want a physical reminder of flow, renewal, and resilience.
Why it matters in this specific moment

In 2026, people are rethinking their spaces: fewer random “decor” items, more intentional objects with emotional purpose. “Living Waters” fits right into that shift because:

It offers a daily ritual of noticing—as light moves through it, the piece changes, nudging the viewer to pause.
It’s deeply physical in an increasingly virtual world: real texture, weight, and glass responding to real light.
The theme of living water / renewal speaks to a collective desire to recover, reset, and keep moving even when things feel heavy.

Buying art at Art & Soup is a great way to support the Visiting Nurses Association as well as local artists like myself. Through this fundraiser the VNA is able to place staff at Omaha area homeless and domestic violence shelters. Plus the gourmet soup from area restaurants is outstanding!

TakeRoot Farm Stop in Dundee is now carrying my work! The “Falling Together” heart series posted last week can now be found here. I’ve been shopping at TakeRoot since before the holidays and it is wonderful to find locally produced meat and produce, and they also carry local makers and artisans! Check them out
