**Longer than normal post**
Sunday I had the pleasure of preparing some of RJs Comfort Foods menu items for my guy Harold’s Bday Brunch. I honestly didn’t know how I felt at first 😳 first thought i was like dude how the heck you use to cook this and more on a daily HELL NAW! When ppl got done SMASHING and were like “Bro you gotta run it back” I was like ain’t no way in hell, this will be the last time RJs is served outside my home. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣 the next few days the inboxes were rolling in on the same thing. I’m still like NO🙅🏽‍♂️🙅🏽‍♂️. Fast forward to last night I get a random text about a possible spot becoming available. Yal know I’m huge on signs 🪧 and when I got the message I didn’t hesitate to tell them LETS TALK! Now it’s in GOD hands 🙌🏽 jus know “IF” we can come to an agreement ITS 🆙

No BS I really miss RJs Comfort Foods not cause of the food(it was fire though) but because of all the other stuff we did BABY SHOWERS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, WINE DINE & PAINT, GENDER REVEAL PARTIES, COMEDY SHOWS, FREE MOVIE NIGHT, FAMILY DINNERS, TEEN PARTIES, ADULT FUNCTIONS, EXPOS, REPASSES and more. NAME ANOTHER PLACE IN THE CITY THAT DID ALL THAT AND SERVED FIRE FOOD? I’ll wait! I mean how as a community organization could you allow something that was so for the community to be taken away from the NORTH OMAHA COMMUNITY? That’s OMAHA FOR YOU! 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

My mom will be having her surgery today at 11:30 and will be staying with us til she ready to go home. Since she needs around the clock Care for the next week I will be staying home to take care of my mom. Thought long and hard about it so RJs Comfort Foods will be Closed this week sorry for the inconvenience.

I remember growing up in Denver we use to take advantage of the free lunches during the summer when we were outta school I feel it’s only right to do our own. Starting this summer RJs Comfort Foods will offer our own FREE LUNCH PROGRAM for kids and less fortunate adults! 💯 (RJs Comfort Foods Is More Then Just a Restaurant)
