Braised lamb neck, pillowy gnocchi, and fall-spiced tomato sugo finished with fresh mint and olive. Rich, slow-braised, and made for cooler days. On the menu this weekend!

Some of our favorite moments happen around a table, and lunch is no different. So we’re bringing back a little of Dante’s early days (2009 to be exact) with throwback pricing through Sunday.

For the last throwback photo drop, from the personal archive of Chef Nick: From holding Jack at Dante when he was just three days old, to reconnecting with Richard T**i, Nick’s first chef in Italy at Michelin-starred Il Falconieri, to an accidental meeting with Arrigo Cipriani at Harry’s Bar, shaving truffles with an old culinary school friend who flew in just for the occasion, eating spaghetti con vongole on an idyllic street in Sicily, and a meal at Osteria Francescana when it was ranked the best restaurant in the world, there’s many different places, different people, but love of food is the common thread.

Going through 17 years of Dante photos, we found a lot of familiar faces and a lot of really good memories.

From the kitchen to the dining room, so many people have spent part of their story at Dante. We’re grateful for the time, talent and energy they brought through our doors.

So this week, we’re throwing it back, to the early days of Dante. And, of course, to lunch.

For one week, we’re bringing back some of the lunch pricing from when Dante opened in 2009.
