Serving up bold flavors & big community love through fundraisers, giveback nights & all-around good vibes in Olive Branch. **Mississippi-born and Memphis-raised**, Chef Jonathan Mah has been in the kitchen for as long as he can remember. Before he could even drive, he was manning the grill in his father’s steakhouse. By the time he could vote, he was sharpening his skills at two of Memphis’ finest
dining establishments — Koto’s and Erling Jensen’s. While studying Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville, he gained valuable experience at Chateau Élan Winery and Resort in Georgia. He later stepped into the corporate world as General Manager for Chili’s in North Georgia before returning home in 2011 as Executive Sous Chef at Alchemy in the Cooper-Young district. In 2012, Chef Mah opened **SideStreet Burgers**, now celebrating **13 years** of serving the Mid-South. The restaurant has been featured in numerous publications across the greater Memphis area. He actively gives back to the community, participating as a guest chef with **Monogram Foods** to raise money for special needs organizations, and hosting **Give Back Nights** to support local schools and sports teams. Seven years ago, after the success of Mississippi Ale House, Chef Mah expanded his culinary vision by opening **OB Pizza Co.**, bringing another flavorful dining option to Olive Branch. From fine dining to neighborhood favorites, Chef Mah blends professional technique with a deep love for his community — and he’s always ready to welcome guests like family.
