SOMETHING TO BRAGGOT ‘BOUT

As close to a mead as we can legally get.

This is a co-fermented honey/malt ale. This is considered an ancient brew and was very popular from 1100-1600. Fun fact: honey was so valuable, Braggot was used as a form currency.

HATCH SABBATH

Our house Baltic Porter, Coulda Been Worse, infused with hatch chiles. ‘Nuff said.

TOMMY NOBLE

This rye Scotch ale clocks in at 8% so treat him with the respect he deserves. Aromatic, sharp, and slightly sweet. This one’s for you dark b**r lovers that want something easy going down.

Look. There is a lot happening at Duckie’s this week. We are celebrating a Ren Faire, gorgeous fall weather and more. So here are the deets.

Tuesday til Friday at close, we are celebrating fall weather with $2 house b**r pours. Get a b**r, hang out under the willow trees, and generally have an excellent time celebrating the one time of year we all want to be outside.

THIS SATURDAY is our first annual Ren Faire! So many amazing vendors coming for you to shop with, PLUS a few specials:

🍺 SOMETHING TO BRAGGOT ‘BOUT - a house made Braggot, which is like a mead but actually legal for us as a brewery to make and perfect for a ren faire

🍻 ALE YEAH - a Scotch Ale for those of you who wear kilts and want something a little less sweet and off the beaten path.

We took a juicy ground beef patty, slapped it on a house-made bagel, and gave it the classics: butter lettuce, red onion, cheddar, mustard + ketchup.

Basically, a burger got bageled. Or a bagel got burgered. However you want to look at it, man.

Your favorite Duckie’s b**r we made for Power House OKC, the Beekeeper honeysuckle l***r, is available in 6 packs starting tomorrow! Made with lemon, vanilla and local honey, she’s been your favorite summer sipper since her release earlier this summer.

To sweeten the deal, our Kick The Keg special this weekend will also be Beekeeper. $2 pours starting at 3pm tomorrow and running through the weekend (or, you know, til we kick the keg). You won’t need that $16 Budweiser at the fair - we promise.

Kidding. These are the Oklahoma City Armored Combat and they rock and we love them and we are mostly sure they won’t clobber you. They might kill you with charm and kindness, though.

Sure, you could go to the fair and buy a $15 Michelob Ultra. OR you could come in today thru Sunday from 3pm-9pm for a $2 Kick The Keg special! $2 pours of a select b**r while supplies last.

Thursday, October 1st join us for a fundraising night benefiting Diversion Hub!

Diversion Hub aids justice-impacted families and individuals in our state. They aim to break intergenerational cycles and prevent recidivism for our citizens. They’re doing great work, and we couldn’t be happier to host them at Duckie’s.

From 5-7pm, 5% of sales will go to Diversion Hub. They’ll have live music, merch, giveaways and plenty of folks to talk to about their work. AND we’ll have a special bagel for the evening - A GRILLED STEAK FAJITA BAGEL SANDIE.

Put it in your calendars, people. We’ll see you October 1!
