IF LOOKS COULD KALE
A Spooky Halloween Story

It was an average October Monday (It should have been cooler, but we will take what we can get… ammiright?). First-ish of the month. The entire town was waiting with bated-breath… “when the fck are they going to announce the new special?” A collective *sigh* could be heard throughout Midtown.

And then! *while casually scrolling through their Instagram feeds*, a sandwich that is also a monster appeared amongst the videos of “totally spontaneous” relationship pranks, and AI videos of animals doing people-jobs.

“THAT’S IT!” they said, “the monthly special is here!”

…And there it was.

IF LOOKS COULD KALE
Roast Turkey. Provolone. Tomato-Bacon Jam. Kale. Fresh Red onion. Aioli-that-we-made.

They rejoiced. They wept. One guy got mad we put kale on it.

Now get over here and eat your veggies, Midtown

What’s up, Midtown!

Now that we got the State Fair out of our system (yay!), we can all look forward to hanging out again (we missed you so much)! That said, we’ve got a few fun things coming up that we are pumped to share with you - but, in the meantime, let’s get jazzed about MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (that’s tonight, folks).

Anyway, the weather is starting to get its s**t together so were opening up the roof for some good old-fashioned, hard-charging, Happy-Hour-Football.

Don’t forget, tomorrow Lil’ Sippies will be on our rooftop with a curated vinyl selection, paired with some great w**es by Thirst W**e Merchants (pssst… they’ll be pouring samples too!)

In addition to some killer cocktails and shots, we’ll be slingin a “B-Side Banh Mi” for the evening - sirloin marinated in a soy ginger glaze with carrot, cucumber salad, jalapeños, cilantro, mayo and a drizzle of some very special hot sauce made by our very own sweet boy Landon.

Our pals Lil’ Sippies will be on The Goose’s rooftop on Friday, September 4th at 6pm with a sick ass vinyl collection and a handful of w**es curated by our sponsor Thirst W**e Merchants to get the vibes just right.

We’ll be serving a special sandwich just for the night – “The B-Side Banh Mi” – as well as Sandinista shots (look it up) and a special cocktail for the evening.
