can you grab an extra pair of children's shoes for our friends at Positive Tomorrows?

Our clothing closet is low on shoes right now, and with new students joining us each week, we need help to make sure every student has the everyday essentials they need to feel comfortable at school.

We need more new tennis shoes or comfortable, closed-toe shoes that students can wear to safely play on the playground.

We're expecting a large donation of shoes in October, but until then, we could use your help filling in the gaps. We're especially in need of shoes in these sizes:

👟 Youth sizes 10-13
👟 Kids sizes 2-3
👟 Kids/Adult size 6
👟 Men’s/Women’s size 7

Selective Mutism is a relatively rare anxiety disorder that impacts children. While a child may be a chatter box at home, the same child may be physically unable to speak in other situations such as at school, grocery stores, and doctor offices. Many children struggle with talking to friends, family members, and teachers/coaches. The recognition of Selective Mutism has increased, but the availability of services is limited in Oklahoma and nation-wide.

Mighty Mouth Kids – OKC is an intensive treatment program specifically for families with a child(ren) that has Selective Mutism. This intensive treatment is held in Oklahoma City each July. You can visit selectivemutismokc.com to learn more about treatment options.
